just got a sweat suit, never used one before, whats the best way to use it?
running or general boxing training?

They're only useful for cutting water weight just before a weigh in.

If you go for a run, or go to the boxing gym wearing it you will lose several pounds (depending on how long you workout) but it will just be water and you will gain it back as soon as you eat/drink.

true but, your body is like a thermostat, the hotter you are, he more calories you burn

Cardio exercises.

Thats pretty much it. You just put it on, and do what you always do for cardio. Then you will sweat the niagra falls out of your body. You can wear it for regular exercises too(situps pushups etc.) but no speed bag, sparring stuff. It will probably rip or you will die(not literally). lol

could you guys recommend the best (the ones that make you sweat more)??

for now i use a normal one but i was wondering if i should buy a specific one that would help me more??

yeah i got that one from the pic :) it works a treat, i use it mainly for cardio

and how long for? wb thanks!did it come with some instructions,call the manufacturer and see if they have any pamphlets as you want to make sure that you have the knowledge and know how on what the suit can do to assist you in your quest for training:drillserg:boxing:

Clottey is using the silver everlast one.


They all do pretty much the same thing(make you sweat), the best one would have to be the one that lasts the longest because after a while they rip or get a hole in them. The ones that don't rip are made like regular jackets, instead of a trash bag but they cost an arm an a leg. Like this...

Those are the best ones but they all make you sweat, no matter how cheap or expensive. Your local sports shop should have ones like Clottey is wearing, like Big 5 or something.
