Like how much more performance do you get out of the 480 gtx compared to the 470gtx? Is it worth 200 bucks more? I'm looking at the specs of both right now on google, and I'm thinking that its probably best to go with the 470gtx for the price. And I'm not going to get an Ati. Ati does not support physx. This topic is a gtx480/gtx470 topic so lets keep to that for now, and no ATI talk.

yeah agreed

keep in mind you will probably need to purchase a new power supply for the fermis. (thermis :p)

the gtx470 is not worth the price, its on par with a 5850 but costs more.

If you must have a fermi (good luck finding one) then go with the 480.

Keep in mind 2 5850s will beat the 480 soundly for around the same cost.

Good luck and I hope you have a well ventilated case.
