He was supposed to get by brewster easily. Everybody is saying valuev is slow and has not fought a live opponent and as soon as he does hes dog meat. Well, he is fighting golota next, and I have a feeling valuev wins this.....

Who cares about this fight, Golota sucks and Valuev sis a 7'2 goon, hopefully they both KO eachother at the same time and the match is voided and the unification series begins.

I havent seen him fight but I really cant see Golota loosing...

Unless Valuev has some KO power he shouldnt really bother Golota. I think that all Golota has to do is bide his time put some shots on and stand up for 12 rounds to win. How many time has Valuev gone 12? I bet this guy tires easily since he's so big.

I agree, My head says Golota will win this fight, but I also thought he would have no problem with Brewster. Golota is unpredictable, and if he comes out the way he did against Ruiz he's fine, but if he shows up to fight like he did against Brewster, he's finished. I say if Golota loses, he should retire right away, no lying this time do it. If he wins, then he's back. This isn't a huge fight, but I'm glad to see my boy back in action.

Yeah, I am glad it is not over yet for the pole. I was just getting over the shock that he did not quit against byrd and ruiz. But in typical golota fashion, he has two strong showings against the two belt holders who matter and is blown out in 53 seconds by the one who does`nt.

Golota needs to get Sam Colonna out of his camp. The problem with Colonna is that Golota is the biggest fighter that fights for his gym, "The Windy City Gym" by far. And really, Colonna needs Golota for the money and everything else alot more than Golota needs him. I dont really think Golota listens to Colonna at all. I dont think Colonna motivates him.

Golota needs to be trained by like Teddy Atas. Somebody that will motivate and boss him around, somewhat like Lou Duva and Roger Bloodworth used to.

I think he'll get all the bossing around he can handle in the ring with Valuev.

Duva and Bloodworth were terrible for Golota. All they ever did was yell at him and he does not take yelling at him very well. Golota needed a Manny Steward for his corner but I am sure Steward would not train him because he knows that Golota is unstable. Golota should not be fighting anymore, he needs to get the **** out NOW!!!

There is a rumor going around that colonna is no longer training andrew.....I wonder how accurate that is???

Well I guess we're the only 2 peeps on here who have actually seen Valuev fight. He takes a decent punch and has decent tech skills and stamina. He looks like he's genetically engineered though. Maybe he's an experiment test tube baby. I wouldn't be surprised over seas the laws are less stricter in some places.

I totally agree. I could see him being part of some crazy cold war project.

He isn't just tall. He punches HARD!!!. He also has amazing stamina.

For those of you who havn't seen him. Imagine Jirov at Cruiserweight, but then add 1 foot in height and 100 pounds in weight.

He used have horrible skills but they got allot better recently.

The only way he loses is to a fighter who is big, plus lots of skill.

Maybe Wlad could do it. Maybe...?

I think Golota will probably be a 3-1 underdog.

Didn't Brewster knock him out in like 1 or 2 mins? Golota is cow manuer...should be 10-1 underdog. He seems clumsy and that mutha****a is OLD! DAYUM!

Look what happened to KT...Aint too many B-hops out there.

whatever..

keep in mind brewster punches probably 200% faster than valuev, and at different angles..valuev wont be able to jump in and land left hooks on golata like brewster did.

i bet golata trains his ass off for this fight, after disgracing himself the last time out.

Then again, he disgraced himself against mike and didn't come back any stronger, so im gonna go with valuev.

Training is what makes or breaks a fighter and at that old of an age your body doesn't recover as fast and starts to deterioate. So unless Golota gots some Steriods he's going nowhere fast! But this is also a good fight to put on Valuev's resume. Another tko.

A couple of days ago they had VAluev listed as next opponent.

Golota is unpredictable, but Valuev is very slow and not a great puncher. I think the longer this fight goes the better Golota's chances of winning. Let's not forget Golota can punch too. With this being said I'd still take Valuev. I think he's not that good, but Andrew cannot be trusted.

You guys are too hard on Golotta. He got caught early and cold, and couldn't recover enough to make it through the round. It can happen to the best of them, and as we all know, Golotta isn't even the best of them. I was stunned by the early agression of Brewster, as I'm sure Andrew was, which makes getting caught like he did all the more understandable. Ease up on the Foul Pole, and give Brewster a hand for his performance.
