View Full Version : Erik Morales V Floyd Mayweather
TheBrownBomber22 06-05-2005, 11:57 AM A fight I still have dreams about, I have no idea how it would have actually panned out but I think it would have been a classic.Intersted in what you guys think would have happened had they fought in the superfeather weight division.
jack_the_rippuh 06-05-2005, 02:15 PM Mayweather wins 10 rounds to 2.
devils03 06-08-2005, 08:52 PM Morales wins by TKO
czars_salad 06-08-2005, 09:07 PM Morales wins by TKO
i cant believe you actually think morales will do this to PFB
he cant even knock manny down
jack_the_rippuh 06-08-2005, 11:41 PM Morales is fun to watch, but let's keep it real. He doesn't have the power he use to have in the lower weight classes anymore. Floyd Mayweather hits harder than him.
Benoit Gaudet 06-09-2005, 12:26 AM as much as i love morales, pbf would put a terrible beating on him
Deems36 06-09-2005, 06:04 AM Morales the machine
dodge 06-14-2005, 08:15 AM PBF wins this one easy.
mic573 06-14-2005, 11:26 AM Mayweather by decision maybe 116-112.
spanishmaster 07-07-2005, 04:54 PM Mayweather by decision maybe 116-112.
Eric and Floyd already went at it in a sparring session. I have the proof. Eric got the better of him and made it look real easy.
Eric's power isnt tapped yet. He started at the lighter weights and has struggled to make weight a large part of his career. He has fought a lot of fights with all the affects of trying to make weight. Now that he's fighting at a weight he doesnt have to die to make we'll see more of his power. He's going to surprise a lot of people. Also he had a strong chin at lighter weights, now its heavier, imagine that.
PBF likes to intimidate people with his style...erik cant be intimidated....PBF only shines with fighters that are easily intimidated (much of the success of Jones is attributed to this also)
No one has really gotten to test his Chin..Great fight but PBF wont take that chance against Eric. Trust me!
TheGreat1 07-07-2005, 04:59 PM this is 1 fight i'd Pay to see, don't have a clue as to who would win. I'd like to go with Floyd, but EM would give him a tough time in there. Maybe a draw.

id like to get my eyes on that proof!!
_Benjamin$_ 07-08-2005, 04:28 PM Mayweather will stop Morale late. Too heavy fo Morales.
Pico Hollywood 07-21-2005, 07:46 AM MayWeather would win in UD
wmute 07-21-2005, 09:32 AM mayweather is bigger than morales
the good little man loses to the good big man
moreover
1) morales struggled with former pbf victims more than he should have, his most shining win at 130 comes against pac, who is not a 130 fighter.
pbf literally cleaned the division outclassing everyone at that weight
2) as for the sparring... it's just sparring, ali let sparring partners pound him all over the place, and then comes fight night... and he got the W
The Troll 07-21-2005, 03:34 PM Mayweather would take him to school. Probably a UD win though because Morales has such a good chin.

Agreed. I would bet my Morgatge (if I owned a house that is) on a Mayweather win.
morales dosent have 1 attribute to beat mayweather...morales wouldnt beat corrales, gatti,n'duo, corley ...hes not on mayweathers level..this is a joke...
rocco1252 07-24-2005, 07:27 PM Anyone who gives this to Morales is a punch drunk fool or just doesnt know boxing, I love Morales he is a great fighter with unbelievable heart, much more than PBF but there is no way he would out box PBF or for that matter be able to handle the full amount of punishment for 12 rounds.
Mayweather in 7 KTFO
DANGER13 07-29-2005, 06:02 PM cmon morales wont get dominated helll naw. hes a tough ass mexicano he'll give pbf a good fight. i think hes got a good chance at winning, but i wouldnt guarentee it. it would b a close fight. pretty boi was beat by a mexican already, he lost 2 castillo n the first fight. i think morales could give pbf a good fight.

Using your logic Mayweather can move up and beat Hopkins since Hopkins already loss to a black guy before, Roy Jones Jr.

Masta_Arena 07-30-2005, 12:23 AM morales would own that *****
wmute 07-30-2005, 02:42 AM the good bigger man beats the good smaller man
Sweat 07-30-2005, 02:47 AM morales would own that *****
oh damn.. r u black??
or no?
rocco1252 08-01-2005, 03:35 PM As much as I hate Pretty Boy I think he would make Morales look pretty bad, I dont see him having alot of power to hurt Morales but I see a large array of punches hurting Morales later on into the fight. PBF if hit may stay alittle distant from Morales but he has to get hit first. Morales is more of a slugger than a boxer and if he pressures PBF maybe we will see a good fight but I dont see this fight as any different than the Gatti fight with PBF!
PBF KO round 10
