I think Clubber had the chin to withstand some of Dragos early shots. Remember it took Rocky to pound away against Clubber against the ropes (most were blocked) and then at least three-four clean shots to drop him. If Clubber was able to get past the first five rounds then I think he would have a shot to knockout Drago in the latter rounds.

Clubber looked meaner and more explosive to me. In my opinion, Drago never looked like that great of a puncher. I don't care what that machine read, the actor did not throw a very convincing punch.

Clubber was a fast starter, possesed quickness and power in both hands, and was intimidating to his opponents. He kind of reminds me of a young Holyfield in his fit physique and boxing style as well as being a "bad ass" like Tyson. Drago on the otherhand, reminds me of Wlad Klitscho with his long reach, shoddy defense, and his suseptability to cut easy. The result; an early knockout by Clubber Lang probaly by round 3.

Of course, their common opponent is Rocky, so let's look at how that breaks down...

Lang destroyed Balboa in their first fight, but you can't read much into that because of Goldmill's death.
In the rematch, Balboa used quickness and movement to tire the charging Lang, then he finished him.

Drago's fight was Balboa was a war, and seeing how Drago was able to take the best Rocky had to offer for 14.5 rounds, I can't see Lang finishing Drago like Balboa did, he lacks the heart, stamina and courage.

Drago vs. Lang would look a lot like Lewis vs. Tyson, IMO. Drago KO 8 after busting Lang up with the jab and uppercuts.
