Hatton/Castillo would be better, cause if it happens here in the States, Hatton wont beable to grab, hold, hit behind the head, low blow,or man handle Corrales, which means he could do what Kostya did for about two or three rounds, and thats fight on the outside, where he almost put down Hatton (not including the non-low blow that wasnt counted)...thats unless Corrales desides to post himself on the inside like he did with Castillo for whatever reason... I had Hatton TKO7...

Listen man, I am neither going to confirm nor deny that, but if you think that this fight is the proper segway into this and this board is the best place to air that out persay, then have fun with it. But also realize that there alot of Americans on this board who give major props to British fighters such as Lewis, Hatton, Calzaghe and others on a near daily basis. Hell, Prince Naseem Hamed is one of my all-time favorite fighters.

Actually I hope they fight in England. A fight like Hatton-KT was meant to have that referee in charge. Mayun he let them fight like MEN..WARRIORS..SOULJAHS! And in the end both earned that status! Maybe if we had more refs like taht in the US we'd see more warriors...nowadays a lot of fighters are sissy's...but that low-blow exchange by RIcky & KT was how the game should be played! rabbit punchest, elbows etc...DAYUM them england muthas are some tuff ****ers! not to mention them Aussie/Russo guys too!

Before the Hatton fight, there were only a few guys rooting 4 him, but now that he won all the bandwagon nuthugers are coming out the wood works.

Diego will punish Hatton with a brutal body attack and a nasty right hand.

Diego is a proven warrior who has faced great opposition.

Castillo would even pound the crap outta hatton. He has also proven to be a warrior by facing worthy opponents.

No disrespect to Hatton , because he showed up 4 a fight, but lets see how he holds his own against fighter who will push him around.

If there were a Tszyu v Corrales fight I would be backing Tszyu even now after his defeat to Hatton. Corrales is skilled and can take punishment(he takes far too much), but I think that Tszyu would over power him, and hence I think Hatton would do the same thing. Just remember the amount of punches Corrales was taking against Castillo. He should not be getting hit like that. With a puncher like Tszyu he would be down and out fast.

I respect Corrales but stepping up to Light welter against any of the top guys would be difficult for him. Maybe if took a warm up at the weight we'd know a bit more about his true power and strength.

I agree with this. If he does step up the people he does not want to fight are the physical guys like Tszyu and Hatton. The ones that throw you around and rough you up, where strength is a big factor.

This is the 3rd Hatton fight I've seen & in each fight, he has been pure energy.

I'm not sure how many fighters can withstand 100+ punches for 12 rounds. This guys does NOT tire out & it looks unreal sometimes to see him throwing 100 power punches in the 12th round. He also has a great chin. Only been down once in his career (& it was a flash knockdown).

That fight was custom made for Hatton. The referee allowed alot of hitting off of clinches & roughhouse tactics that would not be allowed by a good referee. **** I don't know how many times I saw Tszyu arm locked up under Hattons without the ref breaking it up. That won't happen with any top ref. Almost got KTFO? Who cares? Almost? Holyfield almost lost to Bert Cooper, but that doesn't mean Cooper would then have beat Tyson. Have you forgot that in the 1st Casamayor fight that he was "pressured" & actually had Casamayor seriously hurt before the fight was stopped in between rounds due to to a cut in mouth. Corrales is the biggest puncher at 135 & I seriously doubt that another 5 ponds will make him lose power. He probably walks around at 150lbs+ between fights. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO GET OFF OF HATTON NUTTS. He beat a 35 year old fighter who before the fight had fought less than ten rounds in last 2+ years. Corrales has fought better fighters in the last 2 years than Hatton has his whole career. He won all those fights & showed he could change his styles to be effective. Hatton looks very 1 dimensional. Don't judge a fighter on 1 fight even though it was good competition. You probably were jockin Danny Williams after he beat Tyson & we all know how he ended up. In MSG with a top notch ref CORRALES WILL HAVE HATTON KTFO WITH A LEFTHOOK BY RD 6. I GUARANTEE IT!!!!!!!

All right fellas...let's be real here.

Hatton/Corrales is a toss-up fight.

Corrales will carry his power with him up to 140. He has the frame to do so. But his frame is what might work against him. Hatton could really dig to Diego's lenghty torso. But Hatton has a tendecy to drop his guard leaving himself open for counter hooks that Corrales throws. And Deigo throws some of the meanest hooks in the game.

Let's not forget that just because Diego is coming up in weight that he could probably look bigger than Hatton come fight time. First off he's 4 inches taller and would weigh the same as Ricky during the fight.

Either way, great respect to both fighters for their huge wins and not settling at that.
