I've been messing with this for a bit but I'm still not 100% convinced i'm doing it right

could somebody who knows how to do it possibly video it for me just so I can see the technique in action, as I don't want to learn it the wrong way

Does the fist land the same time as the foot...or does the fist jolt out when the foot is in the air and my bodweight is moving forward?

Thanks if you can help me, I'm still new to boxing :) trying to learn as much as I can

I'd heard it was still a brilliant book for powerful punching

In power line of ur lil finger fist lands just before ur foot lands. Relax up till last moment and spasm ur fist n forearm tight as possible like explosive like action.
Have you read the falling step book or Bruce lees books, lee goes into some detail about the straight lead fist attack, in jeet kune do.

thanks man :) thats helpful...I've got championship fighting and aggressive defense by Jack dempsey

will try and get hold of that bruce lee book
