Tszyu has said that he's watched all of Hatton's fights of the last five years 100 times each, he says that he's "extremely confident" because he has studied Hatton's every movement and knows exactly what punches Hatton will throw with each movement he makes. Tszyu will continue to study Hatton fights until the fight itself.

Hatton responded by saying that he's "extremely confident" because of this, saying "you can watch me in the past all you like, but this is not the past anymore! I will be better than ever against you!" and "nobody has brought the best out of me yet, so studying my past is useless!".

Hatton weighed in first a few minutes a go, just under the limit - no probs. Then Tszyu weighed in afterwards and was over the limit. Hatton drinking water after his weigh-in, but not looking dehydrated - looking lively and happy.

Ricky showed no respect to Tszyu at weigh-in - Ricky stood in front of him and stared at him with evil eyes! Tszyu was smiling and looked very nervous.

Sorry my mistake, Tsyzu was only a few ounces over the limit - not a few lbs, just a few ounces over. Ricky waiting for him to return so that he can stare him down again.

Rumour has it that Ricky's plan was to be very respectable and pretend to be very nervous at the press conference yesterday and praise Tsyzu so that Tszyu doesn't get fired up - but then to act very mean and very determined at the weigh-in to put Tszyu off.

Hatton didn't raise a smile until Tszyu wasn't around.

Ricky's plan is to eat big now and fill-out to around 160lbs by fight time!! Tszyu will only be around 145lbs by fight time.

is it possible for hatton to weigh in at 140 and then be 160 tomorrow? if so, wouldn't this affect him in a negative way?

Billy Graham has said that Ricky was weighing close to 200lbs at Christmas, that's quite amazing how he strips his weight off.

Graham says that over the last few weeks Hatton has been "much, much, much sharper" than ever before. Hatton started training a month early for this fight and on yesterday's training clips of him looks very quick and powerful indeed. Tszyu's training clips look lacklustre at best, maybe he's aged overnight.

I'm feeling more confident of a Ricky win now.

Kerry Kayes, Hatton's nutrition he has on board now, says that he will fill Ricky with all the right nutritiants etc. Hatton's taking it very seriously, seems he's been working on speed a lot and has been so ruthless in sparring. You can expect Ricky to look sharp, strong and full of stamina. I expect a fast tempo from Ricky.

is that true about requiring a second weigh-in? is it tonight midnight or midnight before the fight (a couple hours)?

either way, this seems to be a lot more fair than allowing a fighter to come in at 15-20 pounds over the limit.........what would the point be of having such small divisions then!?!

Yeah... It's tonight at midnight so the fighters will have 26hrs to put weight back on...

I just watched the weighin too, and Hatton looked supremely confident... And Kostya Tszyu did look a little nervous :dunno:

Vince Phillips says that Hatton hit "very, very hard and hurtful", but that Tszyu hit him harder than he ever imagined he could be hit.

Sam Soliman has said that not even any Middleweight can punch as hard as Tszyu!

But Billy Graham, Hatton's trainer, believes that Hatton is "much stronger" than Tszyu and will hit harder than Tszyu in this fight.

It's shaping up as a war of punches...

i am sure that it has been proven, that u must judge kostya on the night, and not at the weigh-in or at how he apparently looks (anxious, nervous, etc).....

tszyu didnt look nervous, he looked more sheepish simply for missing the weight.

in addition they said they expect hatton to put on about a stone so as to be faster and not heavier than tszyu as u mentioned earlier. they are saying his target is about 12 stone which is lighter than usual and will be very similar to tszyus weight

more again, as far as i know the weigh in at 12pm tonight is not a required weight weigh in, it is just an ibf check so they can say so and so weighed this much and this much-its not a mandatory thing where they have to weigh anything in particular its just a check to examine how much they put on purely for the media and their own info

Tszyu is definitely not nervous. Hatton fans are nervous and they're projecting their nervousness onto Tszyu. The simple reason that Tszyu is not nervous is that he's been in bigger fights and in hostile territory before (for example, vs. julio cesar chavez.. after that fight, people were throwing things in the ring). Tszyu KO/TKO within 6.

ive seen them, didnt look like slips to me

kt was pouring forward trying to finish hurtado off, whilst hurtado was in the corner, he went in kinda open trying to deliver a ko punch and got countered and knocked down...twice, didnt see any slipping there, he simply got caught. maybe he was off balance but id argue so are a high percentage of any fighter who gets knocked down

yes i do agree that he got caught and that he was off balance......but just to the way that the hits didn't faze him at all made me think that this guy ain't hurt at all....

Magee hit's quite hard and his style is a counter puncher (Which is exactly what he did in this clip). + it happened about 50 seconds into the 1st round where Hatton just got a little careless.

Yeah sure he KO'd Judah with one punch... But Judah's got a weak chin, he got knocked on his arse a couple of times by the feather fisted Corey Spinks. I reckon if anyone catches Judah he'll drop.

I think That Tszyu has awesome power, but maybe not as much as everyone thinks... :dunno:
