Which type of a fighter are you and what type of a fighter would you like to be, aspire to?

I started off as a slugger, but now I am a boxer all the way

Ideally Id like to have as much of Mayweather's skills/defence as possible.

Bi-stance technical boxer.

Although I aspire to be Muhammad Ali-like, given my height and reach advantage, I am best learning from my kickboxing colleagues though in terms of tactics, the more I progress in boxing.

Boxing has its own tactics and strategies. Kick boxing is a very different sport both techniquely and strategicallly, so I advise that you don't pay too much attention to that.

I know what you're hinting at, but kickboxing (in terms of spatial relations and tactics) may be better suited in terms of tactics (not pressing on technique or long-term strategy)for me.

I get what your saying, its just that we get a lot of kick boxing/ martial arts guys trying their hand at boxing in our gym, and the thing is there skills just DO NOT cross over into boxing. I sparred with this guy recently who has being doing kick boxing, grappling for years. He's built, he's bigger than me but I comepletely bossed him round the ring because he's not used to transferring his weight form his back foot to his front foot when he punches and so his punches have no force. Also he didn't have a clue how to work the ring. He'll get better but only from learning pure boxing.

Some tactis probably are similar though, so I guess you wont do yourself that much harm.

I'm only suggesting tactics, not technique or strategy. I could be less concerned about the latter two. But I understand what you're saying about the front foot and power, but that's more related to technique than to tactics. But that's for later on in my training, I assure you.

boxer/slickster..

Move around with the jab when I choose to lead.
Stop, make 'em miss and deliver when I choose to counter.

i'm sort of a jack of all trades. I have natural power but lots of speed, i can bang away or dance around. But i'd say i'm a better puncher than boxer. Since i'm a shorter guy, i like to get in and bang away at the body and let loose uppercuts.
