I don't live in California and for sure don't know what's happening there. I just read in Time mag. that Beatty said that he'd do a lot better than what Arnold has done? Do you think if Beatty wins and succeeds Arnold, he'd do a lot better? He's an actor, too, what's the difference?

I dont think Beatty would stand a chance against Arnold in an election. We will see what happens. Beatty seems like a hard core left winger.

California sure likes electing actors to political positions. It's kind of ****ed up if you ask me. Reagan, Eastwood, Sonny Bono, Arnold, now Beatty (and I'm sure I'm leaving out a lot).

I wouldn't say Beatty is a hardcore left winger, but a OLD SCHOOL, left winger. He was one of the democrats who backed George McGovern in 72', that shows he AT LEAST has good taste. I don't know what kind of Governer he will be.
