5 guys to AVOID

1 - wright
if you thought sturm made oscar look bad, imagine what wright would do. there's a reason why wright has not been anywhere on oscar's radar for the last 3-4 years

2 - shane
some guys just have your number, shane has all the confidence in the world against oscar

3 - forrest
when forrest returns if he's the same guy that beat shane, there's so many things wrong for oscar i dont no where to begin.
world class boxer, long jab, punching power

4 - nard
no explanation needed

5 - taylor
i think taylor is gonna beat nard, so you know what i think he'd do to oscar

5 guys to FIGHT

1 - zab
oscar's can almost match zab's speed, plus he's bigger, stronger, taller and more durable.. oscar by close unanimous decision

2 - spinks
spinks doesn't have the power to hurt oscar and is too small to outbox him... oscar in a late round KO

3 - margorito
a tough, but winable fight for oscar.. oscar by close decision

4 - floyd
a tough fight, but when a good little man faces a good big man.... may look like oscar vs sweet pea again, oscar by split decision

5 - tszyu
as in the case with zab, spinks and floyd, size will be the factor in this fight... nobody beats tszyu easily though, oscar by close decision

I think De La Hoya beats Judah by KO. I think he beats Spinks by KO. I think he outpoints Margarito. I think he looses by KO to Tzyu.

A Mayweather vs De La Hoya fight might be interesting though because De La Hoya has a considerable size advantage over Mayweather. De La Hoya might be able to beat Floyd if he actually comes to fight and not salsa dance. I think Floyd like Gatti is too small for De La Hoya.

Yeah I'd go along with that, Only difference - I reckon De La Hoya would be too big for Floyd Mayweather and win by KO.

You caught me before I edited my post. I took the Mayweather beats De La Hoya on points out. I agree like I said. If De La Hoya comes to fight against Mayweather and not to dance. His power and size advantage combined with his boxing skill should allow him to KO Floyd. De La Hoya is huge for a welterweight and Floyd is not even very big for a superlightweight. Gatti and Mayweather both started I believe at the 130 pound weight class.

oscar can take a pretty good punch and i dont think he's dumb enough to get into alot of exchanges with zoo...i luv zoo, he's one of my favs, but i'm assuming if they ever fought it would have to be at 147 and i think oscars has too much size for him there.. same goes for floyd, too much size difference..

Same here,

There is no way Tszyu will KO DLH.
DLH can take A LOT of punishment..
And I don't believe Tszyu punches harder than Vargas..
Remember, Tszyu is a tough guy among small guys in his division... Oscar is coming down from the MdlWeight.

Also I think like most... his body will not be able to be the same after the weight rollercoaster.. and we might see a much weaker and exhausted De La Hoya.

He did not take much punishment vs Hopkins before calling it quits. He took A dive in that fight. So that Hopkins would help him with his promotion company. At least he did a better job of it than Sonny Liston in his 2nd fight with Ali.

Liston takes an obvious dive vs Ali and Time Magainze declares Muhammad Ali the greatest fighter ever to exist after that bout. What a bunch of bull****. That guy (Ali) was never popular. Not even late in his career. When he fought Frazier in 1975 everybody bood him. Everybody hated that loudmouth. Everybody except the media of course. Howard Cosell was so bias when he commentated Ali fights.

hmmm... I made derrogatory comments about Ali and it has been 7 mineutes before a nuthugger has attached himself to me like a leech. This is a new record. Badmagick must be at the shooting range with his .357.

De La Hoya would be to Mayweather what Hopkins was to De La Hoya.

i would put floyd and spinks on the avoid list....he would gain nothing from beating floyd who is half his size and spinks could outbox him..oscar is fast but he wouldn't ko spinks at 154

Spinks can outbox Oscar.....please stay in the realm on sanity at least 50% of the time. Spinks chin sucks and he cant hit. Oscar is also a better boxer than Spinks. Oscar would straight out maul Spinks. You only reason you say Oscar should avoid Spinks is to in backward way promote the status of Judah.....

You are exposed!

I think Tsyzu would be outbxed by oscar. Oscar may also be able to stop him late. Oscar`s speed would be too much i think, also if Tsyzu did hit Oscar i think there is a good chance oscar could take some.
Oscar late TKO

I can't argue with any of that.

Oscar should avoid Shane, but not because he can't beat him. He already beat him in their last fight, so if anything Oscar has the confidence. Shane definitely doesn't have Oscar's number. Oscar just shouldn't fight Shane because there's not much to gain at this point, and he only has a short time left in his career.

3 of Las Vegas' finest, along with everyone who doesn't listen to Jim Lampley's biased commentary, would disagree with your assessment of Oscar-Shane 2, I think Shane clearly won the fight but the crowd and commentators were all rooting for the Golen Boy so it originally seemed that Oscar had won even though Shane controlled the action from round 9 on....either way, you're right about the fact taht Oscar has little to gai nby fighting Sugar Shane for a 3rd time, fights with Winky/Zab/Vargas are much more appealing right now

Oscar de la hoya shoulnt fight wit the big boyz plain and simple. Not only that the doos at middleweight big, they all seem mo talented than de la hoya right now (not to mention, hungry).

He should fight Spinks, but then again, fo wut purpose? Zab and Maragrito are the 2 good opponents, but I bet he loses to both o em too.

Oscar Should Avoid The Middlewieght Division And Fight Anybody Under That. I Dont See Anyone Out There At 147 That Can Beat Oscar If Oscar Comes Prepared

Floyd would give him a good fight.
You people act like Floyd is not use to being the smaller guy.
Floyd is a better boxer than De La Hoya. The only thing what can pose a problem for Mayweather Jr. is De La Hoya's power and the fact that Mayweather Sr. is in his corner. All this talk about De La Hoya being too big, blah, blah, blah is just a bunch of crap if you ask me. Mayweather is use to being the smaller guy.

Floyd could beat Oscar, age and speed play a lot in that fight
