Within the last 24 hous 2 pro United States air craft have crashed/been shot down in Iraq. One Italian Hellicopter leaving 4 dead Italian military personell. And another fixed wing "Iraqi" aircraft where 4 US military personell have been killed and one Iraqi.

Yesterday 27 Iraqi off duty "police officers" were killed in a bomb attack and over 120 wounded in an attack which Alqueda has claimed responsibility.

The United States and "Iraq Interior Ministry" on monday began "Operation Lightning" which is meant to be a clean sweap and crackdown of anti US fighters in Baghdad. The operation intends to divide Baghdad into 22 Military districts. 675 Checkpoints are to be established and an undetermined number of "flying roadblocks" laid down. The Sectors once cut off are to be searched street by street and house by house to "flush out" any anti US fighters.

Where is George W Bush. Too bad he is banned. I would like to get an official statement from him on this situation. It would probably be all the usual rhetoric though. "Those insurgents and terrorists who attack American troops do it because they hate freedom."

Ungratefull Arab bastards dont apprcieate the freedom that America has brought since 1991 from bombing all the infanstructure in Iraq from the Highways to the water santitation centers to the medical centers. America and the Un's sanctions against Iraq coupled with the bombing of infanstructure killed over 1 million people but the sacrfice was neccessary because "freedom" is such a noble principle.
