Same here, Bro. ****ing joke to be honest. Since there is so much boxing on the weekend.
I'll have to wait to get them sent over from the States.

i dont like the streaming really, the quality is poor and the lag kills the enjoyment. Thought you guys would have it better over there. I know i'll be able to get the HBO PPV's but thats it. Probably 3 fights a year.

Yeh I always stream but for the bigger fights I would like to go out to a pub, seeing Manny is no problem they usually have it all over the place, but would love to know if theiy are other places that show other fighters too

yeah last year i was able to get Pacquiao/De La Hoya, Pacquiao/Hatton, Mayweather/Marquez, Pavlik/Espino and Luevano/Lopez. Usually i wouldnt get the last two but the shortage of them means i take any live boxing i can get.

It sucks man.. Boxing just doesn't have the popularity here in Aus.. by not showing hardly any fights and rarely promoting them the popularity is just going to continue to decrease here..
With all the free MMA shown on Foxtel and normal tv it has gained loads of fans.. All the guys where I work are really getting into the MMA because of this.. the only boxing they would usually see is the big PPV fights with the Aussie fighters like most casual fans.. and these are guys who are in the mids 30's to late 50's.
They know I box and watch lot's of boxing and MMA so they always talk to me about fighters or fights that they have seen... they say how there's no point even watching boxing anymore when there is MMA which is just as exciting and a lot more brutal and blood thirsty.. I always have to bite my tongue and not turn into a boxing nuthugger in this case...
When it comes down to it MMA appeals more to the casual fan who just want to see a fight.. Just watch the UFC the whole show is just great to watch! the commentators and the way the show presents itself is like it's going to be a action packed blood bath... even if the fights turn out to be a on the ground dry humping fest..
Then you have boxing which has more of a laid back and classy feel to it and watching two fighters try and outbox each other for 12 rounds wont appeal even with the amazing skills and talent shown by some boxers.. the casual fan will usually not appreciate that, they want blood they want the knockouts.
