People at Wu-Tang corp seemed pretty pleased with it. im downloading it now. im hearing mef and ghost stole the show.
EDIT: Wu-Tang corp is in love with this album. lol. they going crazy over there...:D
Truth 03-25-2010, 05:11 PM im about to take a spin around town playing this cd. i'll have review when i get back...peace
Truth 03-25-2010, 06:34 PM Imma do two reviews for this album. The one for today and the one when it actually comes out in stores. Cuz i think this **** is missing a song and maybe even a verse. Plus that version will be CDQ.
Early Review Score: 4/5
What I liked:
Soul beats
Meth and ghost killed it.
the fact that it was short and not 20 + songs of fillers
I really like the song "Our Dreams"
What I didn't like:
Where was Raekwon? Seemed like he wasn't on alot of it.
The last song #12...wtf was that beat? lol.
Although I liked the fact that it was short, I wish it was a few songs longer. I mean take out the skits, and its only 10 songs. They should have atleast done 13-14 songs. Or maybe 12.
Where the **** was Raekwon's verse on Criminology 2.5? doesnt sound right with just two verses.
Overall:
I like this album alot. I love how they took it back to hard lyrics with soul beats. Method Man and Ghostface were on their game as usual. I think Ghost and Mef are the two rappers in Wu-Tang that shine the brightest, with Rae coming in #3 as far as entertainment value. Raekwon is still really good too(as proved last year with Cuban Linx 2). But it seemed like he wasn't a big part of the release. Either that or maybe I didn't notice some of his verses, did you guys notice the same thing?
So like I said, its a very good CD. Its the three most relevant and entertaining members of Wu-Tang on one album, a gift to us hip hop fans. I suggest everybody go out on March 30th and buy it. Its a banger for sure.
Truth 03-29-2010, 03:47 PM any reviews for it?

that's my first reaction as well after i listened to the whole album.
and they should have not included those 2 skits.
neils7147933 03-29-2010, 09:05 PM It's a solid album you can play for 30 minutes without interruption (I only fast forwarded through track 11), the track Miranda is the standout to me.
Does seem a little short, but I guess 30 good minutes is better than an average 45 or a weak 70 with no editing.
It did seem Meth & Ghost heavy, I thought too
Truth 03-31-2010, 02:30 PM thanks for the review and karma. ^
The song "gun showers" is insane. Method Man still has alot to give to rap, same with Ghostface and Raekwon. These guys still have it. As a big Method Man fan, I can't wait to hear "The Crystal Meth."
-Antonio- 04-02-2010, 03:36 PM Bout to listen to it now. Too much Ghost and Meth sound slike a good thing to me. I've always liked them more than Rae.
AllEyesOpen 04-05-2010, 09:10 AM any reviews for it?
Overall I thought it was a solid album, dope beats & lyrics. I also enjoyed that it was nice a short. Method Man has become one of my least favorite members of wu-tang simply because of his inconsitancy, he sounds retarded when he drops a solo or a Blackout album, but when he's with Wu he steps up the lyrics, did a good job on this album.
Truth 04-05-2010, 02:45 PM ^I actually think he has been very consistent from 2006-2010. We'll have to agree to disagree.
Ravishing 04-05-2010, 02:59 PM To be honest, I wasn't overly impressed. To me, Ghost and Rae (more Ghost) are the only ones out of the Wu who know how to executive produce their albums (picking beats, songs, sonically making the album sound complete). I just wasn't really wow'd by this, and I wasn't expecting to be.
I'll always have love for Wu, but even with Cuban Linx II..it was doooopppeeeee, for the 1st month :dunno:
But I still have Cuban Linx I and Supreme Clientele on the iPod
