Thanks for the vid, very interesting. Now i understand why those guys beat people up in the UFC. Wrestling and Boxing are the two hardest sports.

Could you give me more precisions about the training of a wrestler. Like how many hours a day, what kind of exercises.

Could you give me more precisions about the training of a wrestler. Like how many hours a day, what kind of exercises.

Training schedule is like 3-4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Then tournaments on the weekends. Some guys work out after so it's like 5, maybe 6 hours.

A lot of the exercises concentrate on cardio. So it's a lot of line touches, doing a lot of sit ups and pushups in a short amount of time and other activities to keep the heart at high performance. You also got the actual wrestling. There is also a lot of calisthenics involved in order to keep limber and fast. It also is a big help for a lot of technique.

Weights are used for strength training. It's great for when one needs a burst of strength to get out of situations and put others into them.

Wrestling is no joke, I would say even harder than boxing as far as cardio is concerned. That's why wrestling matches don't go for 12 rounds, it's crazy the shape you have to be in to be an All -American or someone at that level.

the conditioning for wrestling is insane....they're probably the hardest working athletes

I always puked the first few practices of a season. I've seen lots of people quit wrestling just because of practice...

These videos make me remember why I didn't wrestle through college and then also wish that I had at the same time.
