I hate Golota, so trust me when I say he definently beat Ruiz, like I said in your other post, Don Crooked King.How does a fighter get knocked down twice and lose a point and still win when he was getting pummeled for the majority of the fight? easy answer to that difficult question...Don King. Ruiz's smothering style won him the final 4 rounds. I hated the style but it was effective because it shut Golota down. He was able to land more and push the Pole back. One other thing i noticed that Ruiz does very well and this is sliping jabs. I swear in one round Ruiz ducked every jab Golota threw. This is ring generalship and though we hate the way he does it, it is a style that wins rounds for defensive play. Also remember Ruiz is the champion. Did Golota do enough to beat the champ? I dont think so. I think a draw might hve been fair but a Golota win would have been ok too. What upset me that although a close scoring, it was a little to one sided in Ruiz`s favour! To the poster who said that he did not score the second round 10-7, I say what about in one of the other rounds when Ruiz tried bullrushing Golota after he was hit and fell, they called it a slip but that was bull**** in my opinion, also when Ruiz went down at the bell in one of the other rounds but was not counted down.
