False...

Arguello is a completely different fighter from Freitas. I don't know if you've ever seen Alexis fight but he's one of the best pure punchers the sport has ever seen. His punching power was unreal and the threw almost every punch in the book perfectly (i.e. against Mancini and CBE)

Arguello was basically Chico Corrales but extremely well schooled and with much better technique. Arguello was the definition of a warrior. He'd eat Chico alive.

^are you serious? ALEXIS ARGUELLO got that warrior spirit man! and he is much smarter then corrales they are about the same size ALEXIS has that straight punch that would put corrales down and That was a bad comparison Frietas vs corrales all over again? hahah you kidding right? arguello doesnt run like that around the ring.

i just see arguello as more of a media darling type of guy and corrales more of the warrior, and no,i havent seen any of alexis full fights,i did watch the legendary nights on him though.

notice him and pryor were both greats, that had some great fights, yet they are never aired on any kind of fight station because both of those guys had coke addictions after their careers

^this is just speculation since naz retired before he had the chance to really test his whiskers or get knocked out.

Naseem Hamed was a great featherweight but Arguello at 126 was a freak of nature. He was one of the hardest punchers ever at that weight and threw straight, hard punches with precision. Naseem would have a punchers chance but his balance would really hurt him in this fight. Arguello was too smart to get lured into Naz' traps and wouldn't rush him being that he had a height/reach advantage.

^plus naz was only 5'3 and alexis arguello was 5'11 that would be a really interesting fight/

Naz would ko Arguello? Maybe on Fight Night Round 2 and then only if alexis had never played before. :D He was masterful at letting short fighters come to him and beating them up; he didn't, however, give them much to slip inside of or to counter off of. His defense was much better than some seem to think these days. He also had a much better chin than 4 ko losses may suggest. He'd get Naz early, before 5 though my gut feeling is one.
