I know George is often remembered for being able to absorb punishment but he dealt it too! Of his 73 victories, 64 were KO's! Just a vicious and non-stop body puncher!

He ended up with 15 losses but he fought a who's who of boxing including many former champs, champs and the biggest sluggers of his day ... and NEVER WENT DOWN! He also incurred some of those after he was declining.

I understand Holy will probably get the nod from many of you anyway for his own heart and determination but remember as a heavy he's a pretty light hitter in terms of KO's and he's gone down several times as a heavyweight.

Anyway, have at it!

Chuvalo could punch very hard and his chin was marvelous. But he was not the most skilled fighter I ever saw. Tough as they come, sure, but not a very good boxer. Holyfield would win this one. He would never stop Chuvalo, nor would Chuvalo be able to stop Holyfield.

Holyfield by convincing UD.

Yeah, probably but I personally like George's chances. He had a true KO punch and he'd work the body faithfully.

I guess I could imagine George getting his eyes swelled shut and maybe incurring a bad cut from one of Holy's free swingin elbows or forearms. Maybe a butt.

I'm gonna edit my title ... maybe I can get some more opinions on this fight.

After seeing his fight with Ali I have had alot of respect for him. I think it would go to the dec, not sure who would win.

Chuvalo was an ox in the ring and would bull Holyfield around, beating him to the body. Holyfield had the better skills by far but Chuvalo was larger and had a little more power and a lot more strength. In terms of chin, Chuvalo's was better. Holy's chin is a bit overrated. True it's solid but it would be an insult to compare it to Chuvalo's.

Chuvalo had a very thunderous and underratey body attack, and by far the best chin in history.

Patterson is much faster and hits much harder than Holyfield. I could see Holyfield and Chuvalo going in an all out war. Either man could win.
