Should be a good fight I think Magomedov might be one of those top notch fighters from Russia that hasn't been discovered yet. It's to bad his Pride debut is against Cro-cop. Should be a good fight though.

I believe the fight is now confirmed, I wish it was Fedor but Magomedov is pretty tough he should hold his own.

I was proclaiming Magomedov the next great one before his loss to Wiuff but that fight really made me have my doubts. Magomedov is a good fighter, deserving to be at the top levels of the sport, but he is not going to push guys like Fedor, Nog or Mirko. Its funny how those three guys can chance everything, they are just on another level in the sport, Arlovski is getting there too. In the UFC I say Magomedov could be #2, maybe #1 on a very good night, but in Pride he will never be above #4.

I think your probably right but about Cro-cop, he is one of the big three and would beat pretty much anybody in the world but I think when he's thrown in the mix with some really good Judo guys he might fall victim. He's training with Werdum and has steadily improved his ground game, sometimes you can learn it in a few years some times you can't, I just think has more and more fighters incorperate judo throw style takedowns into their arsenal he might start to have trouble keeping the fights standing because lets face it, guys like Fedor and Nog will Probably always have the edge over him on the ground. just some scatterbrained thoughts.
