Correction.

Roy "WAS" a great boxer ... he'd get ktfo now. Did you get a load of how he was moving against Tarver and Johnson?

Instead of dancing or movin he was more like, doing a version of standing "Lay and Pray". Laid on the ropes and prayed he didn't get KTFO!

Didn't work.

Who cares, no one wants to see this. Before the Tito-Hopkins fight the plan was for Tito to win and move up to 168 for the big showdown when both wouldve been close to there primes. Then Hopkins killed Tito so you know Roy wouldve. Then it was supposed to be Hopkins-Roy but Bernard was too greedy. Now Roy and Tito are fininshed so this fight sucks either way

I bet you that a bunch of fans would pay to see this. This is bigger than a Trinidad-De La Hoya rematch.

Do you really think Tito could carry A)Power and B)Movement to 168?

correction he is a great boxer, he was layin on the ropes in tarver one cuz of stamina, but still pulled it off, tarver 2 he was movin good till he got caught, and johnson he didnt want to be there, so how can u say he would get ktfo, Tito is perfect for Roy Jones if he fights the way he fought Tito.

Damn I can't still believe people exist that think Tito would've EVER done anything against Roy Jones. Hopkins knocked Tito out, at 160! Jones would've knocked him out a lot sooner. Let's not even talk prime Roy, cause he'd murder Tito. Let's talk current Roy. He would stop Trinidad in no more than 9, maybe 10 rounds. Trinidad at 168? Umm...did you see the Tito vs. Winky fight? Look how huge Winky was compared to him. You want Tito to move up even higher and fight one of the best boxers of all time? Umm...no.

All the guys in my signature would destroy Trinidad. Judah is clearly too skilled, and Codrington and Stevens would beat Tito at 160, though they'd have to drain to make the weight. So of course Jones would beat him.

who cares they're both shot!!! in their prime you gotta take roy, he was way to crafty. roy would have exposed trinidad as a one dimesional fighter a long time ago, just like oscar and hopkins... trinidad needs a sucker to trade with him, the only guy to beat him at his game was hopkins. hopkins traded with him and got the better of the exchanges, on route to a ko victory, but roy wuld have danced till the bell rang and got the UD!!! this is easy !

this fight would be boring as hell..jones jr would have to starve himself and be tired and weak to make 168 (similar to the reason he sucks now because moving from heavyweight to 175 wasnt smart)..and trinidad would be chubby and slow to make 168

In their prime i think it would be one of the easiest UD's in Roy's career Tito is just way too one dimesional for Roy. Tito always has a punchers chance but i don't think that Roy would even let him get close to landing a big shot. Tito at 160 also dosn't look that strong and looks smaller than a lot of the natural middleweights so at 168 im not sure he would be able to do much at all.

I would pick Roy Jones, once again Trinidad may be too one dimensional to catch Jones. Jones can box and has pretty good defense, it depends on how much respect Tito shows Jones.

I think you've got that backwards. It depends on how much respect Jones shows Tito.

Jones was too smart of a fighter to jump in and trade with a guy he knew had KO power. Even now, he wouldn't do it. Jones wins at any time in his career-- by KO in his prime. He'd be WAY too fast for Trinidad, and he had a lot of power, too.

Jones couldn't get to 168 again to save his life. And if he did manage to make that weight, 24 hours after weigh-in isn't enough time to recover, and he'd either get KO'd, or outright killed, if he didn't KO Tito in the first minute of round 1.

Jones thinks he can make 168.
What makes you all say otherwise?

Anyway, Trinidad will just get countered all night long by flush shots.

I would pay to see them fight and then after the fight wish they were both retired.

I dont know..I think Tito looked the strongest at 154lbs, that was the best I ever saw him, he only had 3 fights at that weight but he just looked unstopable at 154, Reid, Vargas and Troy Watters the dude that steped in for Terry Norris when Norris backed out. At 168 Roy would be to quick

Jones by KO - Jones is too big too strong and WAY out of Tito's league - now or ever. Tito gets knocked down early often - he gets caught - Jones would catch him and he wouldn't get up. Does anyone remember Jones at 168 - he was a monster! His KO % only went down when he moved up to 175. Tito is too smart to take this fight.

I really think if Tito was to consider coming back he should stay at 154, 160 is just to much weight for him, at 154 he was quick and had great power. And he will also need a good trainer like a Mcgirt or Goosen or something. I think he has the power at 160lbs becuase he twisted Joppys cap but he is slower at 160 he doesnt look as explosive at he did at 154.
