View Full Version : what kind of computer games do you play?
TheKnifeManconi 05-27-2005, 12:56 AM im talking computer games, not console games.
my favorite computer game is master of orion 2,most replayable video game ever
bought guild wars the other day,i like the game and all but i can tell it will get boring in a month or two,it lacks the replayability that moo2 has
Blood_Child 05-27-2005, 01:05 AM Ever played Ravenshield, that game kicks ass.
.::|ULTIMATE|::. 05-27-2005, 01:30 AM I used to play Counter-Strike a lot. now i play once in a great while, i also play StarCraft here and there.
TheKnifeManconi 05-27-2005, 02:33 AM started with spacequest1,a very old game, very young i was about 6 or 7 and finished all the textbased sierra games(kingsquest/herosquest/spacequest/leisure suit larry, awesome line of games sierra made back in the day) up until they made em point and click, after that it was
wolf3d>doom>doom2>quakes>cs>(various fps's)>(various rpg/mmorpgs)>now playing guildwars
edt-nope never tried ravenshield but will look it up
Blood_Child 05-27-2005, 02:57 AM Yeah it's pretty kick-ass. Everquest is cool too, but an entirely different type of game. It's kind of like Might & Magic if you remember that one.
oldgringo 05-27-2005, 02:58 AM worms armageddon
the giant one 05-27-2005, 03:14 AM Ages of Empire 2. That game is severely addicting
Solitare, DopeWars, and Tetris....
chito 05-27-2005, 07:38 AM Red Alert. NBA05.
DR. FREECLOUD 05-27-2005, 07:49 AM currently counterstrike, brothers in arms, nfsu2, call of duty, kotor 2.
cornerman 05-27-2005, 09:38 AM I used to play Counterstrike loads but hardely ever seem to bother anymore. Recently i've been playing Half Life 2 and Prince of Persia 2 again.
The Pretender 05-27-2005, 01:17 PM Holy **** manconi you're a ****ing dork. Computer games? Ha I knew it, that's why you use language like "uber". No wonder you're such a ****ty boxer when you spend your free time counting gold pieces in everquest! LOL
TheKnifeManconi 05-27-2005, 01:34 PM Everquest is cool too, but an entirely different type of game.
i played everquest on that 'Discord' server, for about a months time
(server was only active for a month)
rules of discord were pretty wild.Characters on the server gain double the experience, but if you die,for any reason, you go back to level one.it was a pvp based server,me and my friends all picked gnomes.it was great, really discouraging to be lv24 and die and go back to lv1,but the permadeath made pvp a huge issue, resetting some guys that were level 30 back to level 1,taking 2 -4 days of their time away from them is entertaining.some poor lv 42 necro was soloing spectres in oasis and died, got reset to level 1 soloing..on a permadeath pvp server ;o
also nodrop items there were tradeable,it was great,we had this wizard group and only one of us had the jboots,so we passed em around and each of us used them ;P
The Pretender 05-27-2005, 03:34 PM Ha I knew it! What a loser. Probably got married on everquest to an elf too. Went to a dungeon for their honeymoon! Bwahahaha!
Mick Hucknall 05-27-2005, 03:42 PM Football manager. Populas the begining. Settlers 3. Age of empires 2. Any other strategy game.
TheKnifeManconi 05-27-2005, 03:44 PM you guys that are into strategy games, absolutely have to try master of orion 2.
oldgringo 05-27-2005, 03:44 PM hahahahaha....i aint 'fraid of no ghost.
YoungTurk 05-30-2005, 01:42 AM I like computer solitaire, yahoo pool used to be fun. chat room trivia is fun, I'm way too good at it. I also like dumb sim games like Roller Coaster Tycoon. Not much of a computer gamer. The arcade here has some funny little games too.

MOO 2 Entirely kicked ass. I was playing it for 2 years.
BTW I am playing Guild Wars too. So if you want too we should meet there. Also are you in a guild?
drez24 05-30-2005, 12:31 PM Any real time strategy i love. Command and conquer, age of empires, and more recently Rome: total war
ill have to check out master of orion
NiGe2011 05-30-2005, 03:54 PM That is hilarious that you mentioned Masters of Orion 2 because I played it when I was younger and loved it. These days (when I actually have time) it is mostly first person shooters like Call of Duty and all the expansions, Doom 3 (which was kind of, eh), Half-Life 2 (amazing! cannot wait for Half-Life 2: Aftermanth), and I am now waiting on Call of Duty 2.

I never knew they are making an expansion fot HL2. Damn I am looking forward to it now. the ending of the original was kinda screwy. Anyway I liked HL2 much more than Doom 3 which was kinda disappointing.
