Is it that Hatton hasnt faced a top tier opponent? Or does everyone think that KT is just that good? Maybe a little of both.

I'm gonna stick with what I've said since they signed this fight(even though Hatton looks like he's gonna be in the best shape of his career). Kostya will get to him and drop Ricky a few times finally knocking Hatton out around round 8 or 9. Hatton has been saying alot about getting inside on Tszyu and pounding away and doing whatever he can to avoid Kostya's right hand, this is why I see Tszyu landing a big left hook that will stagger Hatton and then dropping the right on him. Seems like so many people either forget or don't realize that Tszyu has got a pretty wicked left to go along with his lethal right.

You know, I was thinking the same thing..and I was also wondering why this was getting turned into a debate about different countries. :confused: Tszyu is the better fighter of the two, and I dont much care where they came from .

I think Hatton's record is impressive, but after rewatching the Mitchell rematch, I think KT is at or near the top of his game currently, and that's tough to bet against.

He's not as fast footwise, but his fight is smarter and more patient. And the power is still definitely there.

And once he hurts you, he's great at finishing. Hatton can win if he stays way out or goes way in, but if he stays in range of that straight right (like Mitchell tried to do), forget it, one two combo, then KT goes in for the kill.

i just dont see the "war" everyone is predicting...i see a quick tszyu KO of hatton...maybe round 4.

Tszyu by late stoppage after a tougher than expected fight. I think Hatton's swarming attack will leave marks on Tszyu but in the end Kostya breaks Hatton down.

Hatton is a relentless pressure fighter as well but he also has quick hands and a hell of a body attack.

these euros'all seem to have padded stats. when hatton starts throwing his wide looping punches tszyu is going to come straight down the middle with power. hatton is going to be fighting punch drunk early in this fight.

Unless Tszyu Knocked Hatton down like 3 times, there is no way Tszyu can win by a UD.

If it goes full 12 it will be Hatton getting the decision.

I don't see Hatton offering anything unique, except his consistently high output. This is not always a winning attribute, but can't hurt the guy's chances. Trouble is, guys who throw alot can get hit alot when facing an accurate, first-tier banger.

WellI voted for Hatton on points although I don't think that will be the real outcome. It's just wishfull thinking (although KO would be a lot better)

I see it happening in one of the following ways;

KT early with a big power shot, perhaps the left hand this time against a regular stance fighter.
KT 6-7 after beating on a game but overly brave RH all night and it getting painful to watch.
RH 8 with a vicious bodyshot barage after a systematic madman break down of KT body
RH points. Close but ground out victory.
