I can't believe some of you, now people are actually believe Hopkins will never be considered the best until he fights Winky. That he is ducking Winky. I guess they forget that Hopkins already has a commitment to Taylor of whom many are saying will be Hopkin's biggest test in a while. Not to mention , I think that even if they did fight , it would probably be boring with the way each of them fight . B- Hop IS cautious , and Winky is a straight boxer . Historically though B_ hop is very good a knocking out people who are smaller then him , so winky might fit in that catergory .

I totally agree with you, winky is good but cmon hopkins not great unless he fights him, thats a joke. Hopkins in his prime would prolly destroy him, he getting old now but can still do the job anyway. Hopkins is my pick if they fight.

What makes Winky any different. Tito had what it took to be great before he retired since he has been back he has not been the Tito of old and Winky would have been KO'd if he fought him 2 years ago.

Exactly. His biggest wins (and those that will get him in the HOF) are against Trinidad and a blown-up DLH who clearly lost to Sturm. Yes, he's beaten a lot of people at MW. However, I think he hasn't faced tough opposition (except for Trinidad).

Winky is a hard fighter to figure out. I don't think Nard, as slow as he starts, will be able to take a fight on points from Winky and I doubt he'd KO him. I think Winky wins against Hopkins on style matchups. Nard should fight Wink, tho (in a snoozer), just as a favor to fans who want to see the two people who beat Trinidad face each other.

BTW, Taylor is untested and, as such, isn't really a "tough" fight for Hopkins. For the record, tho, I still think it will be a close fight with Taylor imposing his long jab and Hopkins having to come from behind to win a close decision.
