Believe it or not, some people still buy albums. Myself included. If I find a particular album that I feel is worth the money, I'll buy it without a doubt. Most albums don't fall into this category thankfuly, or I'd be broke.

For instance, I bought the new Gza/Muggs album yesterday, but, I wont buy that upcoming Lloyd Banks album, due to the fact that I cant possibly see how it could be good, considering how average his first album was. I'll download it, because, who knows, maybe it really ends up being good, if so, I'll go buy it, if not, I'll keep the songs I like, and delete the rest.

I buy albums because I like to have the real thing instead of a cdr. I usually check the albums out first though.

Jay-Z, who was expected to go at a few industry cats, called 'Esco' to the stage and Nas came to perform the chorus to "Dead Presidents" while Jay-Z left the stage to let Nas perform a few songs.
Then Jay-Z came back and the pair rhymed over Nas' "Made You Look."
"All that beef **** is wack," said Jay-Z, "we're all in this **** together!"
People who were looking for the war declaration were surely disapointed but President Carter made history last night, this was truly a great day in Hip-Hop....

Meth is one of the only members of Wu Tang that I think Rivals RZA in that category.

50 Cent may be adding a few more big name artists to his already stellar roster at G-Unit Records. He spilled the beans on Saturday (October 15) during an interview on BBC's Radio 1 Rap Show in London, where he said he may be signing Kool G Rap, Beanie Sigel and Lil' Scrappy.

During the interview with host, Tim Westwood, 50 stated that he plans to remodel hip-hop. And to start off, the aforementioned artists will be next.

"Everybody wants to be affiliated and a part of what we are doing right now 'cause we got the best camp," said 50. "I'm entertaining the idea of Kool G Rap; we talked and had conversations. Beanie Sigel, we talked to Beanie. [And] Lil' Scrappy is coming over to G-Unit."

Although, there is no official word, 50 continues to express interest in possibly adding them to his artist roster.

In addition to 50 scouting new talent, he plans to move some of his newest recruits -- Mobb Deep and Mase -- to corporate positions within his label. And even noted that they will sign new talent as well.

"You'll be seeing, probably Mase moving into a corporate position. You'll see Prodigy and Havoc start signing new artists 'cause they are really experienced artists. In the A&R department, can't nobody A&R better than the actual artists," 50 told Tim Westwood.

But wait, that's not it. 50 has big, bright plans for his G-Unit company. Currently, G-Unit Records is an imprint under the Interscope umbrella, but he plans to branch off on his own with plans of being the next Def Jam Records.

"We getting ready to do something so big," 50 explained. "We are already making up 70% of the black music at Interscope. Eventually, we're just gonna move over, create our own radio staff and everything else -- just move away from it and be the [next] Def Jam."

Aside from running his label, 50 Cent is preparing the release of his big screen debut, "Get Rich Or Die Tryin," along with the film's soundtrack. The film, which is loosely based around his life story, will hit theaters November 9th with the soundtrack dropping the day before.

his status in hip-hop is set in stone. that man is a legend in the buisness. not all nas' album are classics but the stuff that is, is amogst the best.

In terms of rhyme skills, Nas is one of the best but when it comes to albums he is overrated. Illmatic is a classic without a doubt but most of his other albums are not very good in my opinion.

I Am does have it's moments but I didn't care for most of it. NY State Of Mind II, Favor For A Favor, Nas Is Like and Money Is My ***** are the only songs I like on the album. That's 4 out of 16.

Stillmatic is a dope album but I only made the comment about the 5 mics because that is what happened. Blueprint didn't deserve it either. Both are dope albums though.

I didn't know about his mom dying before God's Son but that still doesn't change my mind about it. The only songs I cared for on the album were Made You Look, Last Real ***** Alive, Book Of Rhymes and Mastermind. That's 4 out of 14.

Get Rich Or Die Trying and Welcome To Cashville were the two best out of G-Unit. Banks album was **** and so was Yayo's. 50's second album was better than those two and it wasn't all that great.
Buck's actually not all that bad. Definitely the best out of G-Unit. I just hate Lloyd's sound, maybe he has good punchlines but he's even more boring then Jeezy and Mike Jones. Who?Mike Jones.
