Thread Stealer 03-09-2010, 11:14 PM really??? Hearns above Pryor???
Hearns is easily above Pryor.
He won titles from 147 to 175, beat guys like Cuevas, Duran, Benitez, and Hill. Often with different styles too, bombing out guys with power or using very skilled boxing.
I didn't like how low they had Hearns (and how high they had Pryor).

Disagree. I think they all should rate above Pryor.
Obama 03-10-2010, 12:21 AM You could maybe argue Pryor above Basilio and Frazier.
alexisarguello8 03-10-2010, 01:59 AM i think pryor is a all time great and all but other than arguello and cuevas who else did he beat what i mean to say is that he was untested in a way

I feel all fighters should be ranked ahead of Pryor except Hopkins at that time.. Hopkins should be ahead aswell by now.
Snopkins 03-10-2010, 06:36 AM Well,Joe frazier has no place on such a list to begin with.
bojangles1987 03-10-2010, 06:43 AM Disagree. Pryor might be above Frazier but those two are similar in how short their careers were, that's the only reason. Pryor might have been better than some of them, but we never found out.
mhager91490 03-10-2010, 10:11 AM Personally I rate all of those men above Pryor.
YoungJab 03-10-2010, 10:49 AM hopkins right now is ahead of pryor, maybe not in 02 but now he is
burley isnt
poet682006 03-10-2010, 12:01 PM Pryor has a cult following who are kings of the "woulda, shoulda, coulda" mantra.
Poet
AKATheMack 03-10-2010, 01:07 PM Pryor was a tremendous talent, but I dont see where he did enough to rank above most of those fighters.
