Oscar has had 5 fight cards here in Sac at Arco Arena, so I'm a much bigger fan of Oscar the Promoter compared to my feelings about his fighting ability....plus the cards that he has put on here at Arco always have competitive fights and there are prize give-aways between fights to kill some time and keep the crowd entertained

I do agree that he needs a big make-up promotion after the Barrera-Fana fiasco, if he puts 3 title fights on the Hopkins-Taylor undercard, I'll forgive him :)

he can make it up big time when he fights in sept. oscar and marco on the same card is gonna be awesome but its gonna be 1 of the best cards ever if they both get a+ opponents.

There is a strong rumor in LA that DLH is about to sign the Marquez brothers.
Ignacio Beristain, the brothers manager, did not deny nor comfirm the rumor, but stated that inking with an other promoter was very likely, and that relations with TOP RANK promoter Arum were very "cold" and their departure was imminent.

yeah Jim Hall is a goofball, the guy is pretty full of himself....I doubt we'll ever get a Corrales fight but Lazcano would be a perfect candidate for a tune-up fight at Arco

I think he's been notrhing, but great so far. He overvalued MAB's drawing power and that was a mistake though.

Barrera vs Fana agreed wasnt a ppv card but since Barrera just came off a great win over Morales i guess he felt it was right to try him on PPV. The Taylor Hopkins fight should be good hopefully he can throw on some more good fights. I think overall ODLH will be a good promoter and good for boxing.
