View Full Version : Ok, it has to be done now. LAMON BREWESTER VS VITALI KLITCHSKO

the 6'5 Golata was not enough. The 6'6 Wlad was not enough. Will an extra inch save Vitali from Brewster's hands?

Or is Brewster (even after two KO wins over everyone's God Wlad and Golata) just a fluke making him overrated enough to end up like Danny Williams?

Vitali is smart he would probably hit lamon so much they would have to stop it on cuts.

I still think Brewster a bum, but yeah I'd love to see this fight now. He does have a knack for KOing big guys.

Vitali would just take a half step back out of Brewsters range when he charges and throw a straight right all night long.... or how ever long the fight lasts. Golata was just standing straight up and arm punching, Vitali will not do that.

I can see Brewster ripping through Ruiz. I doubt Byrd would get hit much even with his slower movement, so UD Byrd. Vitali would TKO Brewster in 9.

before tonight it would have ended the same way. But know VK may be expecting it, and will try to avoid it.

I think the fight right now would be Brewster vs the winner of Rahman and Barrett. All three of them are kind of on the same level in terms of who is most deserving of the title shot against Klitschko. And that is really the only title shot that I would expect to see happen, King doesn't like to mix his guys in with one another.

Naw, I remember that. I am just saying what I think SHOULD happen. In all honosty I expect Rahman to get past Barrett, but it would be interesting to a bout between him and Brewster before he jumps in against Vitali. Also, who knows how well Vitali will come back from his injury. I find it funny that if Klitschko and Brewster (Wlad that is) fought again it would likely be Wlad who would be the dog...

I dont know why but i have a feeling of Ruiz vs Lamon coming with Sam pter fighting winner(if he shall win his next 1-2fights). Ruix talked a lot of crap when he came back, and Lamon wants to prove himself and has nowhere to really go so i think we may see it.

That Vitali injury is bull****, first we heard he pulled his quad and then all of a suddent it is his back and his quad is never mentioned?????? Please if Klitschko is coming off of 2 serious injuries that are detrimental to his performance than Vitali will be good as done with his robotic movement.

Rahman will only get passed Barrett if he stays busy, Rahman is lazy but Barrett keeps the tempo up all night.

I just find it suspicious myself, he takes a jog and tears a quad. He is put on the shelf for a while and that is all that is talked about and they are like the Rahman fight is pushed to June/July. Well March rolls around and all of a sudden he is having back surgery? For what? How did he injure his back? What happened to his quad?

It just seems very strange that noone even the so called "boxing experts" bring this up.

well miss vit has to have an excuse when he loses..i think his excuse would go something like this

VIT: well, larry merchant, my quad is what prevented me from me winning this fight, not my quad i mean my back ,yea my back surgery is what messed me up,you know they took out my spine less than 2 days ago and i still fought tonight.im gonna jump around the ring now and cry like a baby like i did when lewis sliced up my face...sob....sob...

I might regret saying this since I'm Russian but Brewster can beat Vitali if he does to Vitali during their fight what he did today to Golota. Vitali will just move back and block and if Brewster can get his chin he will knock Vitali out same way as Corrie Sanders KO'ed his brother. I definetly want to see this fight happen instead of Vitali vs Rahman.

What does "docking" mean?

But you're not a delusional nut hugger? huh?

How is Byrd ducking a guy that according to you, doesn't even deserve a shot at the WBO title?

How does a guy who's lost twice to fringe contenders in his last 6 fights deserve a title shot at the IBF?

You're just deluded and blinded by your nut hugging bias.

Ruiz writes a public letter to Vitali asking him to fight, and yet according to you he's 'ducking' Vitali.

Vitali WILL fight on a Don King co-promotion. It's inevitable, thus it's no excuse for why he hasn't wanted to fight against a King title holder.

i think you're being overly critical of VK, he's only had the belt for a year and defended it once... and was scheduled to fight a king fighter(a manadatory) before getting hurt... ruiz and byrd have had the their belts longer, why not get on them for not fighting each other? VK hasn't been champ long enough to be criticizing his defences yet

1. It was not a general assertion, it was in response to biased unfounded comments that Ruiz and Byrd were "docking" Klitschko.

2. Ruiz lost and regained his title during Byrd's reign.

3. There's no reason Vitali couldn't have fought Ruiz instead of Danny Williams.

I don't fault him for not unifying yet, I'm only saying those blinded nut huggers who try and insist everyone's ducking Vitali are out of line. He's just as much to fault as they are that unification fights haven't happened yet.

Plenty of times.

1.) against Sanders...he moved straight back

2.) Byrd...he moved straight back

3.) He was even tentative in the first 8 seconds against Mike Ackly...LOL! Either way he knocked his ass out, but then again.. that is his style...he leans back, lifts the left straight up, and then fires the right.

Brewster would bum rush him, the whole way, making him fight. Would be exciting to say the least.

Bottom line:

Vitali is a horrible boxer who can not handle pressure. If you let his goofy ass fight from a range and don't pressure him, of course he'll probably beat you. But if you see what happens when you pressure him (Sanders fight) he get's all goofy and wobbly. The problem with Sanders though was his fat ass was too busy training at KFC rather then in the gym. He fatigued to early. If you train good enough, have decent boxing skills, and can pressure Vitali long enough to force a stoppage or KO, then you win.

He's really a limited fighter with alot of flaws.

brewster's only big win before the golota fight was the win over wlad, he needs a couple more wins over top ten fighters before he even thinks about taking on vitali klitshko, he's been outboxed by the likes of shufford and etienne, his only hope of beating VK is to take some punisment and work inside VK and hope that he tires late on, but thats never happened before so it's unlikely, this theory that some people have that VK has stamina problems seems to be unfounded, because he's won some fights very late on like the ones aganist larry donald and vaugn bean
