What kind of rice?
and what kind of meat?
Whatever it is be sure to eat at least 2 hours before you sleep
spinksjinx 05-21-2005, 01:16 PM Vegetables-Bell peppers/lettuce/carrots/corn/tomatoes/broccoli
Fruit-Apples/Oranges/kiwi/grapes/strawberries
Beverages-Bottled water and a 6 pack of sparkling voss/crystal light iced tea and lemonade
Food-Ketchup/eggs/ground turkey/fat free cheese/chicken breast/fat free jello and pudding/spaghetti sauce
Really that is about it, a few odds and end things that slip my mind.
Depending on the meat and the rice of course.
Great post by the way.

I would cut out the red meat unless it was lean, stick to white. Brown rice is the best. But since you are looking to drop a few pounds and nothing to drastic (is my assumption) is that eating in moderation and light exercise may do the trick well for you.
I would also like to add that the fat free jello/pudding is sugar free as well, it makes for a delicious snack without straying for my diet.
Fat free cheese, I like to eat it on my turkey burgers and in my salads. Overall it fits well into my diet.
Darth Warrior 05-21-2005, 08:00 PM Red Meat is what makes you a man.
I would say increase it as much as possible.
I am not trying to argue with Spinx Jinx he obviously knows more about nutrition than me.
I am just saying that the feeling you get when you eat really rare red meat is what makes a man tick.
Also I recommend not cooking your vegatables. If you can eat them raw they retain much more of the vital nutrients. Be a Man eat it Raw!!!
BadMagick 05-21-2005, 10:35 PM You shouldn't keep bread in the refrigerator. It dries out faster in there. Keeping it closed and outside the refrigerator will keep it fresher, for longer.
czars_salad 05-21-2005, 10:45 PM okay here's what i have in my ref
lots of left over foods (filipino foods ;) ) pancit canton, paksiw, 1 slice black forrest cake from red ribbon, quarter pounder with cheese (with one bite).
two bottles of san miguel beer. milk. water. cheese. 6 eggs. butter. orange juice

Is it dough, or storebought bread? Or is it more like dinner rolls? If it's the first or last, then yes, but storebought bread, like Sara Lee, or whatever, dries out faster in the fridge.
I get pissed at my mom every time she puts it in there for that reason.
