Colonel Jones 12-01-2004, 11:03 PM We must have been thinking on the same wave length. I just posted about the same time you did in the All boxing forum a similiar question. 'Boxing Great Moments', I started really getting into boxing about 1980 when Duran beat the flamboyant Leanord in Montreal. I was hooked. I followed my brother to a gym when i was 17 and fought amatuer for several years. Even though i'm much older now and way past my prime, I can honestly say boxing never quite gets out of your blood completely. Like former bantamweight champ Jeff Chandler said "boxing is an addiction". It really is. Both as a spectator and a participant.
