They didn't remake it. They just did that to show the power of the PS3. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Greatest game ever hands down. Anyway, Cloud looked really gay there in the end...he was also Asian looking, which is all wrong. Clouds white, Tifa's white, Barretts black, Cids white, Reds a dog/lion hybrid thing, yuffie is asian, vincent is spanish, aeris is french, cait sith is a stuffed toy...

I disagree...

FF7 was unreal, best ever IMO...

FF8 wasn't the best but I liked the story in a weird way and the junction system was pretty cool, although materia is cooler. Ultimate Weapon was crazy.

FF9 was a throwback and the gameplay was awesome. I liked Zidane and the cutscenes were sweet (Holy taking on Bahamut, airship vs. silver dragons). Ozma was fun to take on as well and the final boss wasn't a complete *****.

FFX was very good but the story was a bit convoluded in areas. I thought Tidus sucked but Auron was pretty cool. The final boss was SO gay though...and the setting of the game kind of just put me off in general.

I also loved FFT. It had an excellent story and the gameplay was pretty sweet for a strat based rpg. I like customizing my teams and it has a lot of replay value.

I heard the other (the girl's point of view) version of Final Fantasy 10 sucks nuts.

Yo, OldGringo what did you think of Anima and the combination punching it does for it's overdrive Oblivion....that was one fresh Aeon.

What did you not get about FFX?

Yeah I never played FFX-2 or whatever it was called...

Anima was a cool summon (i refuse to call them aeons). I didn't like how you could hide behind your summons in FFX but some of the summons were very cool (except for Yojimbo).

I got everything its just that some of the story was vague and seemed somewhat underdeveloped to me. Some people say that about FFVII too though so to each his own I guess.

I wish that you could have been able to summon Griever in FFVIII. That was a badass summon.

You're right the losing starts tomorrow for the Miami Heat. I feel great because everyone who sits here today and says that the Heat are going to kill the Pistons are the same mudda****as that said the Lakers were going to kill them last year.

i dont know man,

i think the whole final fantasy series is really over-rated.

some of them are really good but most of the stuff square releases is crap. nice graphics with horrible story lines. even ff7 had a bull**** story line.

i'm sick of all the final fantasy hype. oh and how come all the heroes have to look like women? i don't mind homosexuals but i prefer my heroes to look like Barret not like Cloud.

Anyone ever play Xenogears? I played the demo for it ages ago, and it seemed pretty good.

Was that a good game?

Never played it. You ever play Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross? Those were good games...

Chrono Trigger was fun as **** with teh double and triple atatcks. Also had a good story line. I find THE best FF game is FF3 on supernintendo. Yeah graphics were 16 bit but the gameplay and storyline was nothing short of amazing. Easily competes with FF7...easily. Specially the story.

3 and 6 were both good too. One difference for me however was that you could get 60+ hours of original gameplay out of FFVII depending on what you did. It's replay value was also much better for me too.

I agree, I spent more time in that game than any other RPG - it was incredible for its time.

FF3 on the SNES is FF6 in Japan. Our numbering system got messed up because apparently we didn't get every Final Fantasy that was released, but take it from me they're the same game.

FF3/6 had more replay value for me because it was a little more non-linear. Once you had the airship and you were in the second half of the game where the continents were broken apart you could choose a variety of places to go depending on whom you wanted in your party. Not to mention all the crap you could do at places like the Colosseum like aquire the Illumina Sword by betting your Ragnarok, but only if you didn't choose the Esper earlier in the game.

Never beat FF7 I let my cousin use my memory card and never got it back and was to lazy to replay the game all the way back to the fourth disk. I only beat FF8 and FF9 FFX never finshed lazy once again

FFX-2 looked like a game the creators just put out there so fans won't lose interest.
