You still get th IP address of your router. Laptop and Desktop will have different IP addresses within your local network (e.g. 192.168.1.101 and 192.168.1.102)

But to access the internet you will connect via the same IP given to you by your provider. It's 1 IP per modem. So if you have two modems, you get 2 IPs

My work sites and my laptop are incripted with like 20 codes so I keep that one on right next to my computer so I don't have to log in and log out and I can still do my boxingscene thing and whatever else I want at the same time. I also have another computer in the house that connects to the internet from my main computer via a wireless router. I could post on all three computers from three different IP addresses and you guys would never figure out what the hell was going on if I didn't tell you. I may do it as a joke sometime down the road but I damn sure won't let it drag on never tell you guys that I did it.

No, this is not the case... Your ISP assignes an IP for you.. not computers. Router gives you internal IPs on your local network, but on the net you ould have the same....

Actually, you can't do that. The cookies for vBulletin are set up per browser session. 10 open windows in the same browser are the same as 1 since they all read a common cookie.
