any1 know how many calories a day you should intake to loose weight?


(For a highly active athlete playing about 2-3 sports)

depends on your weight and muscle mass.

always between 170-176ish. high muscle mass

2000-2500 some where around 2300 would probly be best for loosing weight

2600-2800 would be best for building lean muscle with out putting on much fat.

you can't really guess at how much calories you need without knowing how much you're using. If you eat less than you burn you'll lose weight, if you don't you'll stay the same. You could work it out scientifically but the trial and error method also works
