Protein is the building block to building muscle, protein builds muscle and cuts fat. There is your problem.

your only hurting your self by tearing down your muscle and not rebuilding them. i suggest this http://www.gnc.com/productDetails.aspx?id=350419&lang=en (http://)
after every workout take it right away with water not milk and you should see some results. It worked for me.

You need 1-2 grams of protein per pound each day to make gains.
The muscle will burn the fat, muscle weighs more than fat so you might tip the scale a little bit higher but you will be leaner. But once the fat is gone you should be around the same weight.
Perhaps you should try a cutting diet and get pretty lean and then add muscle.
