To the thread starter,

What do you mean which ones are the best gyms ? Do you mean, which gyms are best for serious fighters or average Joes ?

For example: Everyone is talkin' about WildCard this and that, but, I'm tellin' ya, If you are just gonna do boxing for recreation, then WCG is not the place for you.

It's crowded, and it's not like Roach will be training you. They don't offer any boxing classes. You either work on your own, or hire one of the trainers and I don't know how much that costs. But, a monthly membership will run ya $50 a month.

Here's what I would look for in a gym. Coaches who love to teach(trust me, there's alot out there who pretend to be coaches and just want your $$$) !! Enough space and equipment, doesn't have to be the best, but training quality has to be the top priority and of course, the fees have to be reasonable !!

Now, as far as the best gym for pro fighters. I can only speak from my own experience. I've gone to numerous boxing gyms up and down the Cali coast and as it stands, I'd have to go with WildCard gym. That place is hardcore fighters galore in that motherf**ker !!

Roach has the top guys right now, and you never know who drops by, could be another fighter from around the way, an elite fighter or folks from the entertainment industry.

pro or am's
if ams then countrys like cuba, russia ukraine and them countrys produce the best amateurs, i dont follow many pro clubs but wild card seems to be decent, but roaches fighters besides pacquiao had good am careers, amir khan and his new arrival rigondeaux.
But i know for one thing freddie is a very smart trainer..
