Hi, my name is Shaun Bartlett, I am 15 years old (16 next month) and I have just started boxing, I would like to continue to go on to competitions sometime next year, I am very ambitious and I love boxing so far, But I was wondering if I have left it to late to start boxing and maybe later start a career?

I do simple work outs every day (can't have any heavy weights, if I did they would go through the ceiling) I go to 2 boxing clubs, 3-4 days a week I am learning and training at diffrent boxing clubs plus doing a simple work out at home (pushups, pullups, crunches, situps etc)

So have I left it to late to start boxing?

You started earlier than I have (by 13 years). You have the advantage there. I want to enter the amateur circuit as you plan on doing. However, it will take for me, at least a year, hitting the weights and such. I wish you the best of luck...see you on the other side of the pond... :boxing: :boxing:

NEVER yoo late.Im only doing it a year and im a few years past 30.if your going to do it seriously youll have to find a very good coach.dont be afraid to checkout other clubs/coaches and always be prepared to listen.I wish you the best of luck.
