everyone talks about Gatti, or Tzsyu or Cotto, or whoever ducking Floyd Mayweather. Who has he fought outside of Jose Luis Castillo? I don't get it. It seems that Floyd won't take a very large risk, yet people say it's the OTHER guys ducking HIM.....

pbf should fight any one of those guys and if one of his next 2 fights isnt one of them ,i will then say pbf is ducking them.

Henry "Nitro" Bruseles is a PR fighter; he got decent power in both hands but is not a threat to Floyd...

didnt forget at all. but is that the only noteworthy opponent other than Jose Luis Castillo that Floyd has faced? all i ever hear is tha he be chico and Castillo. who else? how can people possibly put him at the top of p4p lists when these are his only dangerous opponents? dont mistake this for hating. i like floyd, just trying to find out what's up

i dunno man, those were two large risks IMO they both had huge size and power advantages over mayweather. in the case of castillo he got a questionable decision in the 1st fight, instead of avoiding the man he got right back in there and proved who was the better fighter. both of those guys are also currently at the top of their division. hes also faced a hand full of tough as nails opponents like jesus chavez, hernandez, manfredy, chop, sosa etc and made them look like bums. hes only 27 years old btw. i think he deserves to be a top pfp fighter but i doubt he could rule the 140lb division as long as kostya is there

He has faced good fighters but made them look ordinary and that's why people say his opponents weren't that good. I agree that he should face Tszyu or Harris but it is not all his fault that his promoter wants to not risk him before setting up a PPV fight with Gatti. If anyone has ducked Mayweather in the past it's Freitas and Gatti.

Floyd owns wins over:

JLC x2
Corrales
Carlos Hernandez
Jesus Chavez
Emmanuel Augustus
Genaro Hernandez
Angel Manfredy
Victoriano Sosa

I think he has a fairly good body of work under his belt so far.

that sounds like the same thing everyone says about roy jones. but i disagree. jones was never that great to me. once pbf fights quality then we'll see.

Corrales was considered one of the two best junior lightweights when he fought him and Castillo was considered the best lightweight he fought him so I think so far he has fought the best in his division outside of 140. He is just fighting his second fight at 140 and this is just to setup a fight with Gatti if he beats Leija. Plus Mayweather is an overall better fighter than Roy Jones.

At present, he needs more than Castillo, Sosa, Manfredy, etc. He may have to fight the guys in the next weight class because it looks like he has cleared his own division at present.

Dude you are crazy. Put Mayweather's resume with any of the top guys and he measures up. In 80% of the cases he's better. Go look at Zoo's resume and look at Floyd's and you tell me who has faught the better guys. He tried to fight Frietas and he wouldnt fight Floyd. He tried to fight Hatton and Gatti and they wouldnt fight him. Look man, the fight he wants is Gatti because Gatti brings everything he wants. The money and the fame. After he fights Gatti then I guarentee you he will fight all big fights. If he fights people like Zoo, Spinks or Harris right now they will be big but not real big. He thinks if he fights Gatti it will be on PPV and if he brawls with him then he can take some of Gatti's fans a become a huge attraction. For example if he fights Harris now it will be on HBO for 2 million but if he fights him after Gatti then it might be on PPV and he can make 5 million. Same with Zoo and Spinks. He thinks after the Gatti fight then they would be worth twice as much. Thats why he changed his style

everyone forgets he KO'd N'DOU who was 31-1 with 30KO's N'dou 1st 18 ko's where within the 4th round. this guy was a power puncher, and floyd went toe to toe with him, and won. PBF has it all.
