He's like 6'1 so you know he can carry that weight easily. I bet he's starving himself to make 160 like Cotto does at 140.

taylor is a lot bigger, stronger and faster than hopkins. and younger. he'll have no problem making 160. look who hopkins faught in the last few years. no one with the abilities like taylor. taylors speed and size and smarts to listen to his corner will overcome his lack of expierience. hopkins lack of speed and combos in his last fight made me see warning signs.

I agree i think Hopkins is going to get knocked out in this fight.

I'm not saying B-Hop is going to win for sure, but I think that more than anything he was just showing everyone how easily he could beat Eastman without taking any punishment, which made for a very boring fight. Taylor is a fairly big guy, he has power, hand and foot speed, and fights intelligent fights. I'm going to root for B-Hop, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he didn't have any answers for Taylor come fight time.

JT will knock out B-hop if he doesnt pull a eastman, but i think he will, he seems intimidated by him, but then again i could be under estimating hopkins again

IF Cotto can put on 17 pounds in the 24 hours or so after the weigh in, I see no reason that Taylor could not put on at least that much.

It is actually quite common for professional fighters to fight at about 10% more than their weigh-in weight.

After seeing how badly Margarito beat Cintron and how badly Wright beat Trinidad, I changed my pick from Hopkins to Taylor.

A Taylor win would be much better for boxing, but Hopkins will do whatever it takes to win.
