Well? What ATG fighters, didn't pack a punch.

Here's one. Miguel Canto.

Carry on.

Sort of all relative but neither Billy Conn nor Tommy Loughran was famed for punching power.

Yeah, could you imagine Shavers being called "slapsie?"

Nicolino Locche, 14 KOs in 136 fights.

Maxie was my first thought. Muhammad Ali was not a big puncher either.

wouldn't call Whitaker or Lamotta big punchers.

Holman William only has about 36 ko's in over 180 fights. I think he was plagued more by hand problems than a natural lack of power though.

He knocked out George Foreman. He clearly does not belong on this list. He didn't have Shavers-esque power, but he could certainly hit.

Emlie Griffith and Kid Gavilan both have low KO percentages. 23 KOs in 85 wins for Griffith and 30 wins in 108 wins for Gavilan.

I think both had respectable power though. In Griffith's case he let a lot of people off the hook after the death of Benny Paret.

Muhammad Ali couldn't punch, though he had a good right hand.It was his "cummulation of punches" that stopped other fighters.George Forman was very tired when Ali's good right hand dropped him.

I remember someone saying about La Motta that his only KO's were from people who fell over exausted from hitting him.

LaMotta wasn't that bad of a puncher, certainly not feather-fisted by any means. He legitimately KO'd Jose Basora, Bob Satterfield, George Costner, Laurent Dauthuille, Walter Woods, Jimmy Reeves, George Kochan, Joey DeJohn, Tony Janiro was out at the bell. He also knocked down Sugar Ray Robinson twice.

No I don't think he was feather fisted either just the line made me laugh.
Racking my brains as to who said it though, Paul Pender?

I agree with both of you guys, but it's just that it is really hard to find a trully feather fisted atg, because of how much skill these guys possessed.
