View Full Version : Boohoo Trinidad Check it Out! slavik18 05-17-2005, 10:02 PM Haha,I can see the caption: "Papa, I couldn't do anything" http://www.laprensa.com.ni/deportes/deportes-20050517-09.jpg TheGreat1 05-17-2005, 10:05 PM it's pretty sad to know your career may be ending. I feel bad for the guy. He was one of the most entertaining fighters ever. slavik18 05-17-2005, 10:06 PM It should have already been over. Remember he already retired once. I bet in 1 month he will be back. adeelr 05-17-2005, 10:07 PM that does look very sad, the guy can still be back and beat up alot of people, no need to retire over. but i guess when you lose it you lose it. i would still want to see him fight more. BrooklynBomber 05-17-2005, 10:09 PM It aint over until you say so. I kinda feel bad for Felix but if he lost does not mean he should quit. Look at guys like wlad. He got knocked around and embaressed by grandpa Sanders and assclown Brewster but he aint planning to hang it up. Tito did not even get ko'ed. He can still win a big one,he just needs to start using his brains and change his trainer Truth 05-17-2005, 10:14 PM Trinidad was never a trash talker or a bad person but I noticed alot of people like to poke fun at him when he loses. I guess it just proves there are haters for everyone and everything. BrooklynBomber 05-17-2005, 10:17 PM Trinidad was never a trash talker or a bad person but I noticed alot of people like to poke fun at him when he loses. I guess it just proves there are haters for everyone and everything. Huh, no ****, go to ESB forums there are probably Jesus haters and Ali haters over there. as214 05-17-2005, 10:19 PM Trinidad was never a trash talker or a bad person but I noticed alot of people like to poke fun at him when he loses. I guess it just proves there are haters for everyone and everything. With all due respect Tito is one of the worst trash talkers there was. Before DeLaHoya fight Oscar was classy and Tito ripped him apart left and right calling him names from Chicken, then saying hes not a real Mexican.. He then of course told Winky and Bhop that he'd kill them.. Man doesnt back up his words then cries like a little *****! Sad The Fix 05-17-2005, 10:21 PM if i had his bank account id prob **** in my pants and maybe cry a lil too. 10 mil for getting punched in the face for 36 minutes, damn sign me up. i dont care if you vitali klit or mike tyson, for 10 mil i let just about anyone punch me in the face. Truth 05-17-2005, 10:21 PM Huh, no ****, go to ESB forums there are probably Jesus haters and Ali haters over there. I don't like ESB, every once in a while I read the stuff over there and they are brutal. TyrantT316 05-17-2005, 10:21 PM it is simply because these people don't understand what passion is...Boxing is their life...not some hobby or fighting lessons they take on the side...this is their life...a major embarassing loss is probably as devistating for them as a Doctor losing a patient...it is their life... RwK 05-17-2005, 10:22 PM if i had his bank account id prob **** in my pants and maybe cry a lil too. 10 mil for getting punched in the face for 36 minutes, damn sign me up. i dont care if you vitali klit or mike tyson, for 10 mil i let just about anyone punch me in the face. That is because you are a big guy who weighs around 250 lbs. A normal sized person would be on the deathbead after eating those shots. borikua 05-17-2005, 10:24 PM He's a very emotional guy...He feels that he let down his ppl, I would love to see him fight more, but if he wants to quit that ok with me.. he's healthy, young and rich...With an 42-2-0 35KO's record...He made 20 mills in his last 2 fights so it's all good.. PS: Slavik suck my D**K...The sport just lost one of the best entertainers...Now you can pay to see Winky and Nard in a jab contest.. as214 05-17-2005, 10:25 PM He's a very emotional guy...He feels that he let down his ppl, I would love to see him fight more, but if he wants to quit that ok with me.. he's healthy, young and rich...With an 42-2-0 35KO's record...He made 20 mills in his last 2 fights so it's all good.. The sport just lost a quitter with no heart who ran away after each of his losses!! I dont care how hard he punches, the sport needs men with heart!! splittingatoms 05-17-2005, 10:25 PM i think he should retire.he should have stayed retired the first time.its truly sad when some people have no life then to just pick on people during their hard times.tito never trash talked are involved himself in any scandals unlike alot of other athletes.during his time he was the best at his game, his time is over he needs to accept it and get on with his life.some people like ruiz who really never had any skills other then dancing with men in the rings also needs to retire.he gets it lucky he makes history by loseing to roy jones jr. the dances with rahman and wins it back in one of the most boring fights ever to take place in a boxing ring.then makes history again by losing to toney.then gets the belt right back.sad sad day in boxing.they ought to make toney and hugger ruiz fight again on public tv this weekend so toney can beat his ass yet again so they can find another excuse to get the quiet bum the belt back.sorry for going of topic but i was just talking about retirment and i just had to put john "the guy who loves dancing with other men in the ring" ruiz in it.one more thing i think if tito and winky would have fought during titos time.tito would have gotten a win over wright but that just my opinion. BrooklynBomber 05-17-2005, 10:27 PM I don't like ESB, every once in a while I read the stuff over there and they are brutal. These guys give hate a new meaning. They are brutal. Soldier01 05-17-2005, 10:34 PM "Borikua" Don't even reply to "ass214" He knows nothing and always wants to start something. And Trinidad's crying because his father wants to give up training because he feels that his training methods are not helping tito adjust to the style of a more technical fighter. Him losing to Winky is the farthest thing on his mind in that picture. !! Mr. Soprano 05-17-2005, 10:37 PM What is ESB? Thanks as214 05-17-2005, 10:38 PM "Borikua" Don't even reply to "ass214" He knows nothing and always wants to start something. Look I dont want to start anything.. I just want Tito to finish what he started.. Am I lying? Did the man not run away after his losses? Would he have retired had he beaten Winky.. No if he beat Winky he would have had a parade down the streets of San Juan proclaiming the greatness of "Tito"!! Granted, he would have gotten chopped up again by Hopkins. but as an Italian I just cant conceive quitting and quitters it isnt in our blood.. Mayweather will have to kill Gatti before Gatti quits!! Put Gattis heart inside of Tito then you might be talking about an alltime great borikua 05-17-2005, 10:49 PM What is ESB? Thanks East Side boxing....com !! Mr. Soprano 05-17-2005, 10:50 PM I don't like Trinidad for his arrogance and same goes for Toney.. But they are great and entertaining fighters. My opinion a fighter should build his reputation with his hands in the ring, not with his mouth outside of it. But this is what sells tickets and popularity. Ali did it and many followed: Tyson, Tarver, Toney, Trinidad.. ironic how all the "T"rash talkers start with a "T" I've never heard De La Hoya, Tszyu, Holyfiled, Klitchkos, Barrera, and many others pile dirt on others... and those are my favorite fighters. jack_the_rippuh 05-17-2005, 11:19 PM He might still be able to make a comeback without his father, if he really wants to. I think his father is past his best training days to say the least. What I want to know is, are the majority of his fans devasted or upset that he put on such a lackluster performance? slavik18 05-17-2005, 11:24 PM He's a very emotional guy...He feels that he let down his ppl, I would love to see him fight more, but if he wants to quit that ok with me.. he's healthy, young and rich...With an 42-2-0 35KO's record...He made 20 mills in his last 2 fights so it's all good.. I could care less about Tito. Boohoo *****. Exciterx24 05-17-2005, 11:25 PM He might still be able to make a comeback without his father, if he really wants to. I think his father is past his best training days to say the least. What I want to know is, are the majority of his fans devasted or upset that he put on such a lackluster performance? Dissapointed is how I feel. I am actually more dissapointed because of his retirement. vB Martin 05-18-2005, 12:02 AM I've been thinking about this a lot over the past few days. Tito honestly got his ass handed to him, and I do think that a lot of it is the way his father trains him. Tito is getting a little long in the tooth now, and he needs to pull a Gatti if he wants to continue fighting. If he does decide to get a new trainer and continue, he needs someone who will teach him upper body movement, how to move his feet and retain his balance, how to dance in, dig his feet into the canvas, pop his shots and get out. Tito could still, even without adjusting his style, make some great and entertaining fights. His only losses come against people who are superior BOXERS in De La Hoya (yes, I know Tito got the decision, but we all know he lost), Hopkins and now Winky. If I were a pro boxers, and those were my only defeats in a career spanning nearly 15 years and 45 fights, I would find it hard to feel ashamed of my accomplishments. Everyone who beat him is bound for the IBHOF. Anyway, if he retires, good luck to him. Next time I'm in PR, I'll have to look him up and make him buy me a beer. I know he can afford it! If he sticks around with a new trainer, or not, I will still watch him fight. Even his defeats were entertaining to a true fan of the sport. ME123 05-18-2005, 02:27 AM That is a man who showed passion and love for his people and the people of the world. Everytime he steped into the ring he was fighting for his people, he was fighting with heart. How dare you people question his heart yet challenge his skills. If he didnt have heart and didnt have skills then how the hell did he win over 35 fight by tko? I have nothing but respect for tito. Ya he is crying not becuase he lost but becuase his fathers decision. Forever will I be a trinidad fan. I wish that there were more fighters like him. As for gotti ya he okay but not in the same class as tito, lets be realistic here oscar killed him punching bag, had the guy bleeding to death. Imagine what tito would have done to him knocked his ****en head off AND i LOVE GATTi Mayweather kills him easy superior to average doesnt compare !! Upper Cut 05-18-2005, 02:35 AM A moment most great fighters come to; it's sad, not funny imo. I agree. But I'm sure his boxing days aren't over. We will be seeing more of him. Moon 05-18-2005, 03:06 AM Haha,I can see the caption: "Papa, I couldn't do anything" Hey, the guy is emotional because he's just announced his retirement. I might have shed a tear for the guy too, if I was there watching this thing happen. He gave us some good fights and it's sad to see him go out the way he did. Moonra69 05-18-2005, 03:29 AM If Tito is unretiring he can not wait two years. I am dissapointed not for him losing the fight but for not putting an effort. It was unbelievable to see a fighter dominate Tito with only one punch. I put most of the blame on his trainer, who always trains Tito "around his potential" and not the opponent weaknessess. Notwithstanding, tito had to know by the 11th, and IMO by the 3rd, that he was losing big time, so that 12th round had to be 3 minutes of Tito launching punches w/o stopping. Exciterx24 05-18-2005, 03:37 AM Moon, how are you? Still in Irak? I think that Trinidad got discouraged after the first 2 or 3 rounds and never really had faith in himself. I wonder if that happened because Wright was too good or because Trinidad did not have the desire that has always driven him. triggerhappy 05-18-2005, 09:27 AM ha ha ha the latin menace is gone |
