Bombardier 05-17-2005, 10:20 PM I was in meetings all day today, sounds like I missed a good scrap :mad: . Saw the top 10 post early on through and saw wbc's sig later on. What happened?
He took my opinion way too far. There is no reason for him to be incorporating what I said into his signature based on dissaproval. The only answer for that....is to recieve handouts or more directional dissaproval for my comments by others. In other words...he is an attention whore. Just like MWCOFSU who quoted me in his signature as well.
straight looking for friends. I am merely defending myself. Both have sank to a new level.....where they will never be friends with me on this site. They literally "burned their bridges" by doing so. I took it as a sign of disrespect more than an attempt at my personal humiliation.....

I mean, people were trashing his top-10 list, and knives' only beef was that it included Calzaghe. Somehow wbc turned it into a war between euro and american boxers.
I like watching European boxing, I respect a lot of European boxers, and, hell, if I had to place a pick to live I'd take Europe anyday, but there's no point in trying to compare European fighters overall to Americans (and latin Americans, for that matter). There is no comparison. European fighters come across the ocean and consistently lose. Some of the so-called Europeans that find success here, like Lennox Lewis, Dorin, and prospect Lucien Bute, learned their skills in Canada (Lewis was a gold-medal winning Canadian boxer...look it up). Americans and Latin Americans dominate the title belts and if anyone thinks it's because they're ducking better fighters from Europe than they're kidding themselves.
