I'm a huge fan of Nando's but honestly he doesn't deserve a top 10 ranking in any division at this point, he's visibly punch-drunk, can't beat the elite fighters, and doesn't have any potential opponents out there at the moment....Nando needs another year or 2 vs. chumps until he's ready for another elite-level fight

I partially agree that El Feroz does not deserve a top ten ranking, and partially disagree. But I don't think that Joval was a "chump" or a "bum" or anything like that. He is a guy that had been a top ten middleweight for a while, and was real durable and a game fighter. I think that it was a nice little test for Fernando's first effort back, it is not like he was fighting a welterweight who jumped two classes to fight him or something...

good point, Joval was a good test for Nando, being a true middleweight, and it was good for Nando to get 10 rounds of work, but let's be honest here, Joval was shut-out by Sam Soliman, and didn't have any significant victories in his career before then, so this was really a good tune-up vs. a top 30-caliber fighter, Nando needs to stick to that type of competition level for a while, and I only think a top 10 ranking should be implemented if and when that fighter can truly compete with his fellow top 10 fighters, and right now Vargas can't do that

one of my co-workers cousin is married to fernando, he came to our office last time he was in phoenix. I thought this guy would be cool, turns out his a real *****. Walks around thinking that he is better than everyone so f*** him hope he loses in all his future fights.
