He was telling Trinidad to retire. Perhaps he should apply that advice to himself after two consecutive Ko losses. I respect Roy as a fighter, but he should not say a word about Trinidad if he is not aware that he's not the same Roy Jones of old. To me, what he suffered is worse than what happened to Trinidad.

Roy got knocked out, and yes that is bad but Trinidad showed that he has no skillz which IMO is worse.

aight it was nothing special, he said hes retired for now, but we will most likely see him against the Johnson Tarver winner, He said he is feeling like he has something to prove now so hopfully he dont bull **** and do what he does best.

I agree he is 10 times more talented then both of them put 2gether. he say whatever the public want thats what he will do, I dont want him to do it for us, do it for him, If hes not motivated to do it for himself then I dont wanna see him fight again, cuz I dont wanna witness another Roy Jones KO.

I agree totally... Roy Jones Junior spent 10 minutes on the canvas out cold in his last fight!

I can't see how getting out boxed and spending 10 minutes on the canvas out cold is worse than just getting outboxed? :dunno:

I diss-liked RJJ towards the end of his career because he was fighting guy's like Gonzalez/Kelly/Woods and was haled as the P4P No.1 - I thought, "how can you be the P4P No.1 but your competition is like that?"... And when he fought Tarver the 1st Time I was Cheering for Tarver!!!

I then started to REALY REALLY diss-like him when he tried to have Tarver removed as WBC mandatory challenger for, "not being a worthy opponent" - After their 1st fight??? I thought "You sly little F**k, you ain't gonna be able to run this time!!!"

I cheered again when he got knocked out by Johnson!

BUT! I started to download some of his earlier fights about 6 months ago and to be honest, I'm not sure I've ever seen a fighter SO TALENTED as he was. He was AWESOME!!! He had it all... movement/power/ring generalship/defense/everything... So I see him differently now.

He was a GREAT fighter... But Farther time caught up with him.

He should not go back to the ring now!
