Okay, I'll be first to say I don't know much about MMA or UFC but I don't understand how people can support it strictly because of how the fights are staged. It seems that the UFC does stack cards but to see any of their fights you have to shell 50 dollars out once or even twice a month in PPV in order to see any quality matchups. It's like if boxing were to give you all the fights you want but you would have to pay for them all in PPV. I just don't get how people can justify giving out that kind of dough and for PPVs cards and most of the cards don't even seem PPV quality. A lot of their cards seem like it would be like Pavlik V Martinez, maybe Darychinan V a top 10 guy and I don't know maybe Bradley V Peterson with maybe a prospect on the undercard. While that is better than most PPV boxing cards I could never support an average card a month if I had to pay that kind of money. Also, ESPN, FOX, and SHObox are also great avenues to see many more upcoming fighters too, something I don't see being done in the UFC. I just don't get it.

I see what you mean check, but I just watch a posted vid on blogs like an hour after the show is over but wouldn't pay that kind of money for a prospect vs a past prime fighter main event like tonight.

I dont think it will be as one sided as ou make it out to be. nog looked good against couture so hopefully he can replicate that performance.

Theres a lot of die hard mma fans that shell out $50 a month for such ****ty fights. But then again most mma fans will go to a friends house and everyone chips in like $10

But then again he could look like he did against Mir also Cain is going to be pushing a fast pace, and this can and will most likely be alot of trouble for an older fighter like Nog.

They replay them all on Sp1ke anyway, so really you never even have to order a PPV to see all of the fights.

Really you miss out on a lot more great boxing matches then you ever will MMA for the simple fact that you have to subscribe or order HBO and Showtime + the random indy card to see all the boxing matches.

There's still tons of boxing matches that I've never seen the full fight of, because they took place on showtime rather than HBO.
