I am asking who was the strongest heavyweight puncher of all time, it isn't neither about boxing techniques nor strong chin. I can't add more than 10 to the poll so I put those. If you have another one comment.

Floydmayweather 05-16-2005, 02:58 AM Remove all 10 from the poll, and put Ernie Shavers in. My thoughts exactly Shaveres is the hardest puncher ever. Subwayboy 05-16-2005, 03:04 AM out of that list i went for Foreman Slipx 05-16-2005, 03:11 AM foreman's jab could compete with the power of a hook the giant one 05-16-2005, 03:12 AM Remove all 10 from the poll, and put Ernie Shavers in. Damn straight Earnie should be in that :boxing: the giant one 05-16-2005, 03:13 AM My thoughts exactly Shaveres is the hardest puncher ever. I think Julian Jackson hit harder actually. Earnie is top 10 in the alltime puncher list rge 05-16-2005, 03:13 AM Jack Dempsey and Joe Louis sayd that the strongest puncher ever is George Foreman, and both lived enough to see Ernie. That's why I put some modern heavyweights, since we know who may be the strongest one before 1980. But you may disagree. Bozo_no no 05-16-2005, 03:40 AM Foreman destroying Frazier and Norton in their primes made a pretty difinitive statement. Of that list, he's hands down the strongest puncher. Natty Dread 05-16-2005, 03:58 AM George Foreman :boxing: Michael Wittmann 05-16-2005, 04:42 AM add wlad, and possebly also valuev - hes ben doing some impressive improvements latly.. :) huthut85 05-16-2005, 04:47 AM 1. Shavers 2. Foreman `STEELHEAD 05-16-2005, 05:42 AM man, watching foreman lift frazier and norton off the ground and permanentale changing their brainwaves seems to me to be the hardest puncher. the styles and film clips of the earlier guys doesnt show enough to really compare. M26 05-16-2005, 05:45 AM Earnie Shavers. Ali said Shavers hit harder than Foreman, and Holmes said Shavers hit harder than Tyson, so... Foreman at second place though Martin (Top Knowledge) 05-16-2005, 07:30 AM I reckon Lennox Lewis... One punch knockout artist! czars_salad 05-16-2005, 07:32 AM George Foreman :boxing: whoelse? whoelse? freirui 05-16-2005, 08:31 AM Wladimir Klitschko I think Wlad has the hardest straight punch of all time!!! AintGottaClue 05-16-2005, 08:38 AM i dont think i can beilve ali or holmes when they say shavers hits harder, shavers was never feared liek foreman was, i mean foreman was 40+ years old and holyfield was what 24 and holy wouldnt dare brawl with him and when he did he got hurt, i have to say george. Stickman 05-16-2005, 09:22 AM I agree with the guys above....Shavers should be at the top of that list, along with Foreman. You could probably flip a coin and have as good a chance of picking which one had more power as someone who studied both fighters for years. Both had more brutal, devastating, 1-punch KO power than any other fighter who ever walked the earth. The Blue Ribbon for the ability to inflict the worst blunt force trauma with a padded glove worn on the fist should be shared by these two fighters. leff 05-16-2005, 10:00 AM big geoge comes all time and marciano p4p hardest puncher. ernie should ayleast be lited as number 2 realheavyhands 05-16-2005, 12:02 PM foreman shavers and nonprime tyson..toss up The Pretender 05-16-2005, 12:29 PM Ivan Drago from Rocky IV. Remember when they were measuring his punch power and he would register like 1000s of lbs of force in each punch? rge 05-16-2005, 01:31 PM big geoge comes all time and marciano p4p hardest puncher. ernie should ayleast be lited as number 2 I agree, for 185 pounds Rocky is the strongest p4p. And it seems that Foreman is one of the first two in power. paul750 05-16-2005, 03:00 PM regarding wlad klitchko's power, i'm not so sure he hits as hard as some people may think, ok he's very powerful, but ike ibeabuchi has been the only guy to really hurt chris byrd, wlad couldn't finish byrd, although he did beat him very convincingly and give him a beating TheGreat1 05-16-2005, 03:28 PM i can't beleive you put all those names together and forgot Shavers. Although i'd still take foreman. rge 05-17-2005, 12:20 AM If I had more options I would have put Ernie Shavers, Evander Holyfield, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, and some mentioned the two ucranian brothers. Any others? RipTheJacker 05-18-2005, 04:33 PM Shavers no doubt. RwK 05-18-2005, 04:40 PM Without a doubt.....George Foreman. Nobody even compares. RipTheJacker 05-18-2005, 04:57 PM Ali and his sparring partner said it. The pro's know best. I'll give Foreman no.2 welshwales 05-18-2005, 05:01 PM its gotta be between Shavers and Bruno Manny_P 05-18-2005, 05:03 PM The Grillman fo sho! IRONTIGER 07-05-2005, 08:00 AM :boxing: Iron Mike Tyson the youngest World Heavyweight champion :boxing: Parodius 07-05-2005, 08:19 AM You can't pick just one guy. There's been too many big punchers. I will say like 10 different guys! |
