When I punch I usually stand orthodox, my left jab is alright but my right straight and right hooks are great. My left hook needs work on because it's quite powerful but you see it coming a lot more than my right(unless this is natural?) In my high school by my friends I was said to have one of the hardest right hook (not meant to brag, to show it in comparison to my options) but when I tried going southpaw on my bag, my jabs were outstanding compared to when I went orthodox. But then the opposite problem came along, my jab was great but my hooks were alright. I'm quite heavy so my punching should be in power rather than speed so should I stay orthodox and improve my jabbing and left hook, or southpaw and improve both right and left hooks?
