Not taking anything away from Winky out of a magnificent performance, he made a fan outa me and his style of fighting isnt my style, anyway, dont you guys remeber Hopkins actually ko'd or tko (whatever) Tito, sure he put on one of the best boxing performances in history but Hopkins has been around the business for a while, until he actually fights Hopkins and beats him, he's not better. Like everyone says "to be the best you gotta beat the best", and right now Hopkins is the only real threat standing in front of Winky. Awsome showing for winky either way.

Same here it was totally embarrasing to watch my favorite fighter get completely outclassed and beat like that.Props to Winky for fighting a spectacular fight.As for Wright vs. Hopkins i agree,i think Wright wins it. :boxing:

The only thing that suprised me was that Winky won ever round, i thought Tito would at least win a couple. But i always said this Tito has the least bxing skills of all the superstars. hes one dimentional he can only come foward throw bombs and not block. Even before the fight they asked his dad what were Wrights weakenesses and he said "we didnt really look at his fights that much, we're more focus on Tito's ability than on Winky's weakness." The only fight Tito has won against a good "boxer" in his prime was Teddy Reid. But you have to give credit to Tito for one thing hes probably one of the hardest punchers in our era.

Nice post. There really are no excuses for this loss. The better boxer won in dominating fashion. I don't see too many fighters getting through Winky's defense.

A Hopkins-Wright fight would be a good matchup, but probably one of most boring fights ever. One of my friends fell asleep by the 4th round last night watching the Tito-Winky fight and everyone else just started playing card games. Tito is supposed to be an exciting fighter, which Hopkins is not.

Ok fights should be exiciting but i couldnt keep my eyes off that boxing lesson wright gave. I loved every minute, it wasnt a spectaculare fight but it was a spectulare performence.

A hopkins V wright fight may not be boring. It would probably be hopkins last fight and he'll want to go out with a bang. I'll love to see it happen but as Judah did last night Hopkins has to take care of buisness first V Taylor and in his case it wont be easy.

While it was a good performance by Winky, it's more that it was a horrible performance by Tito, and horrible cornering.

Wright was never effective if he was moving back. I noticed this in the 2nd round and watched it throughout the fight. Wright usually just covered up if Tito started punching and coming forward. He didn't really counterpunch Tito, he just beat him to the punch everytime and never committed himself and always kept his hands high and kept Tito moving back with his jab. It was up to Tito's corner to tell him to never take a backwards step after round 3 when they saw what was happening...and saw what it was going to take for him to win.

The warrior may be gone from Tito. He knew he was losing, yet he took NO chances, was never agressive, never loaded up or tried to push Winky into the ropes. He basically used none of his weapons or advantages. Winky may be bigger, but Tito is still the bigger puncher. Tito never had a backup gameplan, his corner never gave him other options and a sense of urgency.

Tito didn't have one blemish, bruise, cut or swelling on his face at the end of that fight. If you get outboxed like that and your face looks the same as before you entered the ring, then you should be ashamed. There was nothing on Winky's punches...he never sat down on a punch the whole fight hardly- all arm punches. Tito and his corner let arm punches and jabs beat him that easily without making (or even attempting) any adjustments? Embarassing.

Tito should be ashamed of that performance. His corner should be as well. He either needs to retire, or he needs a top quality trainer who can think on his feet during the fight and tell him how to make adjustments and be real with what's happening...

If Tito pressured him, Wright just moved back and blocked. He never stepped back and countered hardly. If Tito pressures him and has him moving back the whole fight, then his jab is infinitely less useful and it makes Winky react to him instead of the other way around. Tito spent the night trying to land little counterpunches that weren't there bc Winky never committed and kept his hands high and kept Tito moving back the whole night.

Yet no significant punches were landed the entire night and Tito never gave himself a chance to win, and showed no urgency or a warrior effort. He lost every round by backing up and being outboxed.
