Can the standing end bag be as good as the ceil floor attached ones?
Im asking this because im thinking of buying one but i dont want to make holes and stuff but on the other hand i want the best work out as possible.

I've got one of the standing end balls. Its great, but it doesn't move like a double end bag and is therefore a completely different workout. Fast double jabs and combinations dont really work quite the same way either.
I't recommend one but not as a double bag substitute.

In what way is it a different workout then? Is it easier then the hanging double bag?

Well my standing bag is heavier to hit, it can be quite an impact compared to a wall to ceiling bag because of the large spring in the base. If your footwork is bad and it hits you on rebound it can hurt!!
It is also not as fast as a wall to ceiling bag............in other words it doesn't come back as quick so double jabs or one two combos can not be executed quite as fast.
A well set up wall to ceiling back can really test the reactions and be excellent for combination work training. You will certainly improve accuracy with the standing bag but not to the same degree in my opinion.

Just get a double end bag. I drilled 2 holes and in less than 2min. Made a platform out of a piece of wood and little hook, put 15pds of weight on it and was set.
