A Filipino Applies for a Job at Wal-Mart....

An office manager at Wal-Mart was given the task of hiring an individual to fill a job opening. After sorting through a stack of resumes he found four people who were equally qualified. .. An American, a Russian, an Australian and a Filipino. He decided to call the four in and ask them only one question.

Their answer would determine which of them would get the job. The day came and as the four sat around the conference room table the interviewer asked, "What is the fastest thing you know of?"

Acknowledging Dave, the American on his right, the man replied, "A THOUGHT". It just pops into your head. There's no warning that it's on the way; it's just there. A thought is the fastest thing I know of."

"That's very good!" replied the interviewer.

"And now you sir?" he asked Vladimir, the Russian. "Hmm.... let me see. A BLINK! It comes and goes and you don't know that it ever happened. A BLINK is the fastest thing I know of."

"Excellent!" said the interviewer. "The blink of an eye, that's a very popular cliché for speed."

He then turned to George, the Australian who was contemplating his reply.

"Well, out at my dad's ranch, you step out of the house and on the wall there's a light switch. When! You flip that switch, way out across the pasture the light in the barn comes on. Yep, TURNING ON A LIGHT is the fastest thing I can think of." The interviewer was very impressed with the third answer and thought he had found his man. "It's hard to beat the speed of light" he said.

Turning to Eleuterio, the Filipino, the fourth and final man, the interviewer posed the same question.

Eleuterio replied, " Apter herring da 3 frevyos ansers sirrr, et's obyus to me dat da pastest ting known is Diarrhea."

"WHAT!?" said the interviewer, stunned by the response. "O I can expleyn serrr ." said Eleuterio . "YOU SEE SERR, DA other day I wasn't Peeeling so good and I run sooo past to the baffroom, but, before I could THINK, BLINK, or TURN ON THE LIGHT, ay 'tang ina, I already had a big tae in my pants.

Eleuterio is now the new "Greeter" at Wal-Mart !!!

Sabi mo lang iyan.... pag nasa US ka na, mangangati kang maka-uwi ulit sa Pinas. Ako last na uwi ko e 1992 pa, at kating-kati na maka-uwi ulit. Tangna, pamasahe pa lang kasi talo ka na kung may pamilya ka. Sama mo pa pasalubong at pocket money.... kulang-kulang mga 7 to 10K.... :( Buti noong binata ako, maka-ipon lang ng mga 3K e talo-talo na. Dami pa naman akong kabarkada diyan sa Pinas mula noong HS pa..... Sigurado pag naka-uwi ako, katakot-takot na lasingan aabutin ko.. :D

Espana was clean! Recto was clean! Un-****ing-blievable! I was so used to seeing Manila dirty that when I saw how clean it was, I almost teared up with pride! :D

The only draw back was I had a hell of time finding fishballs and adidas to eat. I miss those! They're dirty and probably unhealthy and filled with parasites...pero ang saraaaaap! :D

Tagatay has all these restaurants now! Like this place called Hen Li or whatever. They got the best Palabok! Thing is, I eat American sized meals...so I have make two orders just for me! :D

pare yong tita ko nasa new york ngayon and she is already an american citizen. she works as a nursing head in 3 hospitals in albany. alam mo pare everytime na nagkukwento sya abot US parang ang sarap-sarap doon, i mean you gain what you work for. lalo na kapag nagpapadala sya ng pictures with her friends tapos nasa snow sila o kaya nasa New York City, i think everything in america is beautiful. don't get me wrong, i love philippines and i love my family and friends here.

this is true, manila city is very beautiful ngayon, of course you have to discount the traffic jam. roxas boulevard is tourist friendly. magaling ang pag-develop ni mayor atienza sa baywalk. mas nakakagulat ang intramuros. na-relocate na ang mga squatters at ang dating area nila either restaurants or shopping stores na ang makikita nyo. have you been to marikina lately? ang dating heavily polluted marikina river, ngayon marami ng hito at tilapia!
