Ok all these fights on the show are 5RDs and that sucks, Who do ya'll think woulda won the show if they had been 12RD fights, maybe the same people, but I dont think so, 12Rds gives them time to box. On the show its like a race for who ever wins 3RDs. Examples on the show, Ahmed woulda definatley KOed Alfonso. But since it was 5RDs Alfonso won. Maybe Ishe Smith woulda did better, I dont know, what do yall think???

They should of been at least 8 rounders, i would of preferred them to be 10, i could understand them being 5's if they were all novices with only a fight or two under their belts, i don't think any of them are 6 round fighters at all, 10 for all matches except final then that should be 12

for a 1 hour show, they had to do it in 5... 10 and 12 rounders are too long for the show... i agree with you ahmed and alfonso, ahmed was strong, but is a slow starter...

Oh give me a break. By that logic, 5 rounds are too long for the show because they only show us edited footage and highlights. Non-stop action, the contender fights probably show 2 to 3 rounds.
12 rounds only gives the show more material to work with to edit together a fight and would be more interesting because stamina would be more of an issue.
Wonder why only one KO/knockdown in the Contender matches so far? Because the fights are too short. 5 rounders are for Butterbean not true contenders.

I dont think any of these guys are ready for twelve rounders. 12 round fights are only fought for championships. Most of these guys are still kinda green to pro fighting. 5 rounds is sufficient in my opinion. Both fighters know its a five round fight, so they should box accordingly.
