What do you make of them saying this a while back? They said Tito is the greatest ever fighter the country has produced!

I'd say it's out of him and Benitez..

Who else did you have in mind?

It is who I would have picked for overall all time standing.

Skill wise I'd pick Benitez

I think Wilfredo Gomez' name has to be thrown in there too.

I can see a good argument for Felix and both Gomesz and Benitez. Ive always been a fan of felix, had a good attitude and a smile on his face.

Carlos Ortiz for me.

Oritz, Gomez, and Benitez all belong ahead of Tito but the counter could be 'better' v. 'greatest.' Tito was certainly a MEGA star

Trinidad may have very well been the most popular Puerto Rican fighter of all time but if we're talking about who the best boxer out of Puerto Rico is then I'd have to place Tito behind Ortiz, Gomez and Benitez

Hard to gauge popularity either. Sixto Escobar was beloved in a different media era and Ortiz packed some Garden shows in a bigger audience era. I wouldn't rate Tito ahead of those three anyways but it's interesting to think about.
